Want to sail aboard the Disney Treasure for free?
Disney just launched a new sweepstakes that could send you (and three guests) on a seven-night Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Disney+ has been steadily expanding its subscriber perks throughout 2026, with everything from Walt Disney World discounts to giveaways and free trials.
But this might be one of the biggest yet. The new “Treasured Moments at Sea” Sweepstakes gives entrants a chance to win a seven-night Disney Cruise Line vacation aboard the Disney Treasure for up to four people. And the cruise itself is only part of the prize.
Depending on where the winner lives, Disney will also cover airfare, a pre-cruise Walt Disney World hotel stay, and transportation. Entries are open now through September 25, 2026, and you can enter once per day.
Here’s exactly what’s included…and a few rules you’ll definitely want to know before entering.
What Does the Disney Treasure Sweepstakes Include?
Disney is awarding one grand prize consisting of a seven-night Disney Treasure vacation for the winner and up to three guests.
The cruise portion includes:
- One stateroom aboard the Disney Treasure for up to four people
- Seven nights aboard the ship
- Onboard meals, excluding specialty and fine dining
- Prepaid gratuities for the stateroom host or hostess, dining room server, assistant server, and head server
- Taxes, fees, and port expenses
And depending on where the winner lives, Disney will take care of even more of the trip.
If the winner resides more than 250 miles from Port Canaveral, the prize package also includes up to four round-trip coach airfare tickets from the major U.S. gateway airport closest to the winner’s home to Orlando International Airport.
Disney will also provide one standard room at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for one night before the cruise and transportation for up to four people between the airport, hotel, Port Canaveral, and the airport for the return trip.
Disney will select the hotel, stateroom category, transportation arrangements, and other applicable details.
That’s considerably more comprehensive than simply giving someone a cruise fare and leaving them to figure out how to get to Florida.
There Are Still Some Things You’ll Have To Pay For
“Free Disney cruise” doesn’t mean absolutely every expense during the vacation is covered. Disney specifically excludes several expenses from the prize package, including shore excursions, travel insurance, laundry service, spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, specialty non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffee, and individually charged snacks and treats, such as movie popcorn, packaged candy, ice cream, gelato, pastries, and bar snacks.
Any other costs not expressly included in the official prize description are also the responsibility of the winner and their guests. That’s worth knowing before entering, particularly if you’ve never sailed with Disney Cruise Line before.
Your regular rotational dining meals and many onboard food options are included, but it’s still very possible to spend additional money once you’re on the ship.
How To Enter the Disney Treasure Sweepstakes
The sweepstakes runs from August 28 through September 25, 2026. Entrants are limited to one entry per person per day, so this isn’t necessarily something you should enter once and immediately forget about. If you really want that Disney Treasure cruise, set yourself a reminder.
The promotion is being featured as part of Disney+ Perks, and Disney+ subscribers can access the sweepstakes through the Disney+ Perks program. Disney says subscribers can sign up for Disney+ Perks using the same email address associated with their Disney+ subscription.
The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old, subject to the complete eligibility requirements in Disney’s official rules. The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Disney currently expects that drawing to take place on or around October 5, 2026, with the potential winner notified by email around that time. So maybe don’t send every unfamiliar October email directly to spam.
When Can You Take the Free Disney Treasure Cruise?
Winning doesn’t mean you can pick absolutely any Disney Treasure sailing. The vacation must take place between October 21, 2026, and October 20, 2027. Travel must also be booked at least 45 days before the intended travel dates. Blockout dates may apply, and both sailing dates and accommodations are subject to availability.
Disney also reserves discretion over several components of the vacation package, including the stateroom location and category. That means the winner isn’t necessarily getting to choose a specific Concierge suite, itinerary, or stateroom simply because they’ve won.
Still, seven nights aboard the Disney Treasure for four people (with the major cruise expenses covered) is a pretty substantial prize.
The Disney Treasure is one of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ships and began sailing in December 2024. The ship is heavily influenced by themes of adventure, with Disney attractions and entertainment incorporated throughout.
One of its signature venues is the Haunted Mansion Parlor, Disney Cruise Line’s first bar inspired by the Haunted Mansion attraction. You’ll also find Skipper Society, inspired by Jungle Cruise, and the Periscope Pub, which draws from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The ship’s rotational dining lineup includes Plaza de Coco, themed to Pixar’s Coco; Worlds of Marvel; and 1923, named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded.
Entertainment includes Disney The Tale of Moana, a Broadway-style stage production created specifically for Disney Cruise Line, alongside other Disney shows and activities.
In other words, if you’re going to win a Disney cruise, this isn’t exactly a bad ship to get.
Disney+ Has More New Perks Right Now
The Treasure sweepstakes isn’t the only new Disney+ Perk released at the end of August. Eligible new Spotify users who haven’t previously tried Spotify Premium can currently receive a three-month trial of Spotify Premium Individual through the Disney+ offer. After the promotional period, the subscription automatically continues at the then-applicable monthly price unless canceled.
Disney+ subscribers can also continue collecting a monthly Disney Pinnacle Mystery Capsule, which contains an Open Edition digital Disney pin from Dapper Labs.
Other current Disney+ Perks include opportunities to win a trip to the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl Game and a private screening of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday in RealD 3D, along with select discounts from participating brands.
For Disney travelers, there are also perks tied directly to vacations, including a Walt Disney World holiday package offer that combines select resort savings with a complimentary Park Hopper option for qualifying stays. But it’s hard to compete with potentially boarding the Disney Treasure for seven nights without paying the cruise fare.
The Treasured Moments at Sea Sweepstakes is open through September 25, 2026, with one entry allowed per person per day. No purchase is necessary, and complete eligibility requirements and entry instructions are available in Disney’s official sweepstakes rules.
