There’s a Disney Springs brunch where dressing for the occasion can score you a free drink…
…and suddenly we’re shopping for captain’s hats.
If your ideal Disney World morning involves brunch, waterfront views, live music, and maybe a mimosa or two, there’s one Disney Springs restaurant you might want to add to your weekend plans.
The BOATHOUSE is currently hosting its Captain’s Sing-Along Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, combining its regular waterfront dining experience with brunch dishes and live dueling pianos. And there’s a particularly fun perk hiding inside the experience.
Show up wearing a captain’s hat or a BOATHOUSE shirt, and you can receive a complimentary mimosa with your meal. Yes, really.
There is one important limit: the offer is good for one free mimosa per guest during the meal.
Thankfully, there’s no complicated Disney vacation strategy involved here. You don’t need a promo code, Annual Pass, Disney Vacation Club Membership, or special ticket. You just have to commit to the theme. Guests who attend the Captain’s Sing-Along Brunch wearing either a captain’s hat or BOATHOUSE shirt are eligible for one complimentary mimosa.
Considering a standard brunch cocktail can easily add another expense to your Disney Springs meal, it’s a fun little incentive for anyone willing to dress the part. And honestly, if there were ever a restaurant where wearing a captain’s hat to breakfast made sense, it’s this one.
The BOATHOUSE is located along the water at Disney Springs and is heavily themed around boating, with nautical décor throughout the restaurant. There’s even a table built inside an actual boat.
Outside, you’ll have views of Lake Buena Vist, —and depending on where you’re seated, you may catch one of the restaurant’s vintage Amphicars driving directly into the water. So the captain’s hat isn’t exactly out of place.
The Captain’s Sing-Along Brunch is currently offered Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM until 3 PM. The dueling piano entertainment runs from 11 AM until 2 PM.
A 10 AM reservation will get you into the brunch, for example, but the dueling pianos aren’t scheduled to begin until an hour later. Likewise, a later brunch reservation could extend beyond the scheduled entertainment window. If the sing-along is the priority, we’d aim for a reservation that overlaps comfortably with that 11 AM–2 PM performance period.
What’s on the Brunch Menu?
The free mimosa may get your attention, but there is an actual brunch happening here, too. The BOATHOUSE serves several breakfast and brunch dishes during the weekend experience, including:
Shrimp & Grits
Avocado Toast
Crabcakes Benedict
Steak and Eggs
Breakfast Tacos
Belgian Waffles
There’s also a brunch twist on the restaurant’s familiar bread service. The rolls served during lunch and dinner get topped with cinnamon icing during brunch and arrive with whipped butter, essentially pushing them into warm cinnamon-roll territory.
For a restaurant best known for seafood, steaks, and its waterfront setting, the brunch menu offers a good mix of traditional breakfast food and dishes that still feel distinctly BOATHOUSE.
The live entertainment is what makes this brunch especially interesting right now. Disney World fans may remember Jellyrolls, the longtime dueling piano bar at Disney’s BoardWalk that closed in 2025.
The Captain’s Sing-Along Brunch brings the energy of dueling pianos into a completely different environment. Instead of a late-night adults-focused piano bar, you’re getting live sing-along entertainment in the middle of the day at a waterfront Disney Springs restaurant. That makes this potentially useful for a non-park day.
If you’re taking a break from the theme parks, arriving at Disney Springs for brunch gives you somewhere to eat and enjoy live entertainment before spending the afternoon shopping, grabbing drinks, or exploring the rest of Disney Springs.
It could also work well on an arrival or departure day when you don’t want to purchase another theme park ticket but still want something that feels like an actual Disney World vacation activity.
