Start checking those calendars, because Disney Cruise Line just gave us a LOT of new vacations to dream about.

Disney Cruise Line has officially revealed its fall 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries, and this new batch of sailings is sending Disney ships everywhere from New York City and Puerto Rico to California, Mexico, Florida, the Caribbean, and even through the Panama Canal.

Among the biggest announcements? The Disney Wish is heading to New York City, the Disney Destiny will home port at Port Canaveral for the first time, and Disney is adding brand-new ports of call in Panama.

And if one of these cruises is calling your name, you’ll want to pay attention to the booking dates.

Disney has confirmed that bookings for the newly announced fall 2027 and spring 2028 sailings will open in phases.

Early booking begins August 31, 2026, for select Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members, followed by general bookings beginning September 8, 2026.

Now, let’s get into where the ships are headed!

Disney Wish Is Sailing From New York City!

One of the biggest announcements is the return of Disney Cruise Line to New York City.

After completing its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 for a limited run of seven special voyages ranging from four to seven nights.

Five of those sailings will head to Bermuda, giving guests the opportunity to trade the New York skyline for Bermuda’s famous pink-sand beaches.

And Disney isn’t rushing everyone back to the ship, either.

Three of the five Bermuda cruises will include an additional day in Bermuda, giving families more time to explore the island.

The Wish will also sail from New York to New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast, marking Disney Cruise Line’s first voyages from New York to those destinations in nearly four years.

It’s an especially fitting itinerary for fall, when guests could potentially see the changing autumn colors along the coastline.

Disney’s currently published New York sailing information confirms Bermuda and Canada among its destinations from the city.

Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy Are Heading to San Juan

New York isn’t the only home port getting some Disney Cruise Line love. Disney will also offer more opportunities to sail from San Juan, Puerto Rico, aboard both the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy during fall 2027 and spring 2028.

These cruises will range from five to seven nights and visit destinations throughout the Southern and Eastern Caribbean. That gives travelers another option for exploring the Caribbean without beginning their Disney cruise in Florida.

And if you want something considerably longer, Disney has another adventure planned.

TWO Disney Panama Canal Cruises Are Coming

The Disney Magic will make two major repositioning voyages through the Panama Canal during the newly announced season. Both voyages will be 14 nights, with one taking place in fall 2027 and the other in spring 2028.

But these aren’t simply repeats of previous Panama Canal itineraries. Each cruise will include a maiden call for Disney Cruise Line. The eastbound Panama Canal sailing will visit Fuerte Amador (Panama City), Panama for the first time. Then, the westbound voyage will make Disney Cruise Line’s first call at Colón, Panama, located on the Caribbean side of the canal.

That means two brand-new ports are joining Disney Cruise Line’s destination lineup.

And at 14 nights each, these repositioning cruises will also give guests considerably more time aboard the Disney Magic than your typical Disney vacation at sea.

Disney Destiny Is Moving to Port Canaveral

There’s also a BIG change coming for the Disney Destiny. For the first time, the Disney Destiny will home port at Port Canaveral beginning in fall 2027.

From Port Canaveral, the heroes-and-villains-themed ship will offer three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. But before it makes the move, the Destiny will begin the season in Fort Lauderdale, continuing to offer three- to five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.

So travelers will have opportunities to sail aboard the Destiny from both Florida ports during this season.

Disney Wish Will Eventually Return to Port Canaveral

The Disney Wish is going to have quite the year.

After sailing its inaugural European season and heading to New York and San Juan, the Wish will eventually make its way back home to Port Canaveral. Once it returns, the ship will resume three- and four-night cruises to The Bahamas.

Those itineraries will include visits to Disney Cruise Line’s two island destinations:

Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. So if you’d rather stick with the classic short Disney Wish getaway from Florida, those vacations aren’t disappearing.

TWO Disney Ships Will Sail From San Diego

West Coast Disney Cruise Line fans are getting plenty of options, too. Disney will begin the fall 2027 season with two ships sailing from San Diego through early November — the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.Both ships will offer three-to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises.

After the Magic moves on, the Disney Wonder will remain in San Diego throughout the fall 2027 and spring 2028 seasons, continuing to offer three- to seven-night cruises.

Destinations will include:

• Ensenada, Mexico
• Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
• Catalina Island, California

That’s particularly good news for West Coast families who don’t necessarily want to fly across the country to start a Disney cruise.

If you’re interested in one of these newly announced cruises, there are two dates to remember: August 31, 2026: Early bookings begin for select Castaway Club members, and September 8, 2026: General bookings open.

And I’d expect some of the more unusual itineraries (particularly those seven Disney Wish sailings from New York and the Disney Magic’s 14-night Panama Canal crossings) to get plenty of attention.
