Planning to celebrate Independence Day at Universal Orlando Resort this year? You may want to keep your schedule wide open.

Epic Universe

Universal has officially released its full lineup of Fourth of July festivities, and there will be something happening across Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, Universal CityWalk, and Universal Orlando Resort hotels. From the first-ever fireworks presentation at Epic Universe to live DJs, dance parties, patriotic characters, specialty entertainment, and nighttime celebrations, guests will have plenty of ways to celebrate America’s birthday.

The biggest addition this year is happening at Universal Epic Universe. For the first time since the park opened, guests will be able to experience a special Fourth of July celebration inside Celestial Park.

Constellation Carousel

The festivities begin with a special Fourth of July fireworks presentation at 9 PM over Celestial Park, marking the park’s first Independence Day fireworks show.

Then, at 10 PM, guests can stick around for a special fountain spectacular, creating a unique two-part nighttime celebration exclusive to the holiday.

The timing is especially notable because this all happens just days before Universal officially debuts Universal Celestial Goodnight on July 7, which will become Epic Universe’s permanent nighttime spectacular featuring fountains, music, lighting effects, projection mapping, and fireworks.

Universal Studios Florida Brings Back Its Patriotic Celebration

Over at Universal Studios Florida, guests can celebrate throughout the evening in the Music Plaza area.

Beginning at 5 PM, DJ M-Squared will kick off the festivities with music throughout the evening.

Live musicians will perform while guests can enjoy dance parties featuring Universal characters, patriotic stilt walkers, and themed performers throughout the area.

Character meet-and-greets will also be available during the celebration, giving guests plenty of photo opportunities before the night’s grand finale.

At 9 PM, the celebration concludes with Universal Studios Florida’s Fourth of July fireworks display, lighting up the skies over the park.

Celebrate All Night at Universal CityWalk

The celebration doesn’t stop when you leave the parks.

Universal CityWalk will host its own Independence Day party featuring live entertainment across multiple stages.

CityWalk

Guests can enjoy live bands, DJs, patriotic dancers, and stilt walkers throughout CityWalk, creating a festive atmosphere long after the parks begin their nighttime spectaculars.

Whether you’re grabbing dinner, drinks, or simply enjoying the entertainment, CityWalk offers another great option for celebrating the holiday.

Fourth of July Fun Extends to Universal Orlando Hotels

Several Universal Orlando Resort hotels will also join the festivities with special Independence Day activities for resort guests.
