You don’t have to travel to Ancient Greece to see the legendary Trojan Horse — it just showed up at Universal Orlando Resort.

Guests visiting Universal Studios Florida may notice something rather unusual standing in Central Park: a towering wooden Trojan Horse emerging from the sand. The impressive display is part of a new promotional campaign for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic film, The Odyssey, which arrives in theaters on July 17, 2026.
The centerpiece of the display is a massive wooden horse inspired by the legendary Trojan Horse, one of the most recognizable symbols from Homer’s ancient Greek epic.

The installation appears partially buried in sand, creating the illusion that it has emerged from the earth in the middle of Universal Studios Florida. Nearby, guests will also find a promotional sign featuring artwork from the upcoming film, showing the horse surrounded by flames and smoke.
What Is The Odyssey About?
Directed and written by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey is based on Homer’s classic epic poem, which follows Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, as he embarks on his perilous journey home following the Trojan War.

The ancient tale has inspired countless books, films, and stage productions over the centuries, but Nolan’s adaptation is expected to bring the legendary story to the big screen with his signature large-scale filmmaking style. The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 17, 2026.
