Universal Orlando guests will notice another visible sign of progress on one of CityWalk’s biggest upcoming additions.

New restaurant construction

New construction walls have been installed and expanded around the future home of Category 10, the highly anticipated entertainment venue from country music superstar Luke Combs coming to Universal CityWalk.

During a recent visit to Universal CityWalk, additional construction walls and themed barriers could be seen surrounding the future Category 10 construction site.

The walls now stretch along a larger portion of the waterfront area near Margaritaville, giving guests a clearer idea of the footprint for the upcoming venue. While vertical construction has not yet begun, the expanded work zone suggests site preparation continues to move forward.

From the current guest viewing areas, much of the space behind the walls remains hidden, though construction activity is expected to increase in the coming months.

What Is Category 10?

Universal Orlando announced earlier this year that Luke Combs’ Category 10 would be coming to CityWalk as a massive new entertainment destination. The venue is expected to feature live music, multiple bars, dining options, and a variety of interactive experiences inspired by Combs’ music and larger-than-life personality.

According to previously released details, the Universal Orlando location is expected to span approximately 33,000 square feet across multiple levels, making it one of the largest venues at CityWalk.
