Another dining change is officially coming to Universal CityWalk Orlando.

Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal CityWalk Orlando will permanently close later this summer and be replaced by Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice, a restaurant founded by Joey Fatone.
According to the announcement, Hot Dog Hall of Fame is currently scheduled to close sometime in July 2026 as work begins on the restaurant transition.
Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice is known for serving a variety of creative hot dogs, specialty toppings, Italian ice flavors, and other casual comfort food items. The restaurant brand was originally launched by Joey Fatone, best known as a member of the pop group NSYNC.
Universal has not yet announced an official opening date for the new CityWalk location or shared details about possible exclusive menu items coming to the Orlando venue.

Hot Dog Hall of Fame has operated at Universal CityWalk for years and became known for offering regional-style hot dogs inspired by cities across the United States, including Chicago dogs, New York dogs, and chili cheese dogs.
The restaurant replacement continues several ongoing dining and entertainment updates happening across Universal Orlando Resort as the destination continues expanding ahead of the launch and long-term growth of Universal Epic Universe.

Fans hoping to grab one last meal from Hot Dog Hall of Fame may want to visit before the restaurant officially closes in July.
