I will fully admit that I am the person who exits Test Track, ignores the gift shop entirely, and beelines straight for the showroom to read every single spec sheet like I’m actually in the market for a Suburban.

I am not in the market for a Suburban. I do not need a Suburban. And yet, here I am, thrilled that the showroom just got a refresh.

Most of the General Motors display vehicles on the right side of the Test Track exit showroom have been swapped out for new 2026 and 2027 models, with Cast Members on hand to answer questions for anyone genuinely shopping (or, more likely, anyone like me just enjoying the free air conditioning and pretending to shop). The left side of the showroom is largely untouched for now, so this is a partial refresh rather than a full teardown.

Here’s the new lineup, broken down by brand:

Cadillac

  • 2027 Vistiq Platinum — the only 2027 model currently on the floor, making it the newest vehicle in the room by a full model year
  • 2026 Escalade Platinum Sport 4WD — the brand’s flagship SUV, shown here in its top-tier Platinum Sport trim

GMC

  • 2026 Sierra 1500 AT4X — the red truck you’ll spot from across the room, GMC’s off-road-focused trim of the Sierra

Chevrolet

  • 2026 Traverse Z71 AWD — Chevy’s three-row SUV in its rugged Z71 trim
  • 2026 Suburban Z71 AWD — the full-size Suburban, also dressed up in Z71 off-road styling
  • 2026 Silverado 1500 Crew RST 2WD — a Crew Cab Silverado in the sportier RST trim

Full pricing and spec details are posted on placards next to each vehicle, same as always, for anyone who wants to actually compare notes before hitting up a dealership back home.

Here’s the detail that actually got me the most excited: the only “new” addition to the other side of the showroom isn’t new at all. It’s a vintage GM Impact from the 1990s — the electric concept car that directly led to the GM EV1, one of the first mass-produced modern electric vehicles. Parking a 1990s EV concept inside a ride literally themed around automotive innovation and the future of transportation is exactly the kind of curatorial detail that makes a corporate-sponsored showroom feel like it actually belongs in EPCOT instead of just being an ad with a “please don’t touch” sign.

Also on display right now: a genuinely eye-watering $221,000 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which is objectively the most fun thing to stand in front of and quietly calculate how many Disney vacations that money could fund instead. (The math is not favorable to the Corvette. The math is never favorable to the Corvette.)

If you’re newer to EPCOT, a quick bit of context: Test Track reverted back to its original General Motors sponsorship last summer after a stretch under Chevrolet branding specifically; worth noting since Chevy is itself owned by GM, so this was less of a corporate breakup and more of a rebrand back to the parent company. That shift is part of why the showroom now spans multiple GM brands (Cadillac, GMC, and Chevrolet) instead of being Chevy-only, and it’s likely why we’re seeing this kind of multi-brand refresh instead of a single-nameplate rotation.

If you’re heading to EPCOT soon, it’s worth carving out five extra minutes after your Test Track ride to walk the showroom floor…the lineup’s clearly being kept current, and there’s a decent chance it looks different again the next time you’re back.

We’ll keep tracking the showroom as GM rotates in new models, so check back with Theme Park Scope to see what shows up next.
