It may only be May…but Disney is already looking ahead to Christmas!
Disney fans eager for the return of Disney Jollywood Nights just got a BIG clue that the holiday party is officially gearing up for another year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
New casting calls posted by Disney Live Entertainment strongly suggest the after-hours holiday event will return for the 2026 season, and some fan-favorite entertainment appears to be coming back, too!
According to newly released casting notices, Disney is currently seeking dancers and vocalists for the 2026 version of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The casting calls specifically reference the return of the stage production “Disney Holidays in Hollywood” at Theater of the Stars. The show is described as a glamorous Hollywood-style holiday special featuring live jazz musicians, singers, dancers, and appearances from Disney characters, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Tiana, Belle, Mickey, and Minnie.
And honestly? The fact that Disney is already casting performers this early probably means planning for Jollywood Nights 2026 is well underway behind the scenes!
The casting descriptions strongly suggest Disney is bringing back the vintage-Hollywood-meets-Christmas atmosphere that made the event stand out during previous years.
According to the casting information, Disney is searching for jazz and big-band style vocalists, musical theater performers, swing dancers, and hiigh-energy ensemble performers.
The vocal requirements even reference styles inspired by performers like Ella Fitzgerald and Brian Setzer, which honestly feels VERY on-brand for the glitzy old-Hollywood vibe Disney has leaned into with Jollywood Nights since the event debuted.
Disney is also reportedly seeking performers for contracts running from mid-September 2026 through early January 2027, which lines up almost perfectly with the typical holiday entertainment schedule at Walt Disney World.

Disney Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed after-hours holiday event held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the Christmas season.
The event combines classic Hollywood glamour with festive entertainment, specialty food, shorter wait times at lower-attraction areas, rare character meet-and-greets, exclusive merchandise, and holiday-themed stage productions.
