One last trip to Hawkins. One last battle. One last chance to say goodbye.

Stranger Things 5 is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 35 as a haunted house built entirely around the Netflix series’ final season, and Universal is treating it as a genuine send-off for a franchise that’s anchored the event for years.
The Stranger Things 5 house is located in Soundstage 23B at Universal Studios Florida. Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026.

This house was announced on June 17, 2026, making it the third haunted house confirmed for HHN 35. It’s also featured at Universal Studios Hollywood, continuing the franchise’s run at both coasts.
A Franchise Send-Off
Stranger Things first debuted as a Halloween Horror Nights haunted house back in 2018, and this year’s house marks the fourth time Universal Orlando has brought the series to the event. With the Netflix show wrapping up with its fifth and final season, Universal is framing this year’s house as a genuine send-off for a property that’s become a recurring HHN favorite over the years. The house was developed in partnership with Netflix, and it’s built specifically around the most gripping moments from the show’s final season.
The Official Premise
The house transports guests straight into the town of Hawkins as the barrier between reality and the supernatural is collapsing, unleashing an ominous darkness across the town. Guests join the Hawkins gang for one last adventure, tasked with surviving an army of Demogorgons, facing down the Mind Flayer, and ultimately confronting Vecna in a final showdown. The house’s tagline captures the tone in three words: One. Last. Adventure.
The Locations
Guests will make their way through several locations pulled directly from the show’s final season, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, and the haunting realms of the Upside Down and the Abyss. Along the way, they’ll be hunted by Demogorgons and other sinister supernatural creatures native to the Upside Down.
How This Compares to Past Stranger Things Houses
This isn’t the franchise’s first rodeo at HHN, and longtime fans will notice this year’s house pulls from very different territory than past editions. The 2023 house, for example, was based on the show’s fourth season and took guests through locations like the Hawkins Lab, the Creel House, and Vecna’s blood-red mind lair, with demobats and Vecna as the primary threats. This year’s house instead closes out the entire series, pulling together locations and threats spanning the show’s climactic final chapter rather than focusing on a single earlier season’s story.
