If face painting has been part of your Disney Springs routine, you’ve got until September 26 to squeeze in one last transformation before the kiosk near Marketplace Co-Op closes for good.
It’s a small addition to a Disney Springs day, but it’s exactly the kind of small addition that tends to matter most to the youngest guests in your group.
The Enjoy Your Face kiosk located near Disney Springs Marketplace Co-Op will permanently close on September 26, 2026. The good news for face-painting fans is that this closure is limited strictly to this one location. Enjoy Your Face operates additional kiosks scattered across Walt Disney World’s theme parks, and none of those are affected by this closure, so the activity itself isn’t going away resort-wide, just from this particular spot in Disney Springs.
If you’ve noticed Disney Springs feeling a little different lately, you’re not imagining it. This kiosk closure is landing on the heels of several other walk-up spots disappearing from the district throughout 2026. Both Sunshine Churros kiosks, one in the Marketplace and one on the West Side, closed permanently after September 5, ending a run that dated back to August 2019. Disney Springs’ food trucks, a fixture for roughly 13 years, were removed entirely back in June. And Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, part of Disney Springs dining since 1997, has also closed. None of these are directly connected to each other or to the face painting kiosk specifically, but taken together, it paints a picture of a district that’s actively clearing out some of its longest-running smaller-scale offerings, whether that’s to make room for something new or simply to consolidate operations.
Disney hasn’t announced what, if anything, will take over the face painting kiosk’s spot once it closes, and the company hasn’t publicly commented on the string of closures more broadly either. That’s not unusual. Disney Springs has changed and rotated tenants steadily for years, and a shuttered kiosk space rarely stays empty for long in a district that sees this much foot traffic. Still, without an announced replacement, it’s genuinely a wait-and-see situation for now.
For families with a Disney Springs day planned in the near future, this is a pretty low-stakes change in the grand scheme of a trip, but if getting your kid’s face painted like a tiger or a princess has become part of your visit, it’s worth building in a stop before the 26th. After that, you’d need to catch an Enjoy Your Face kiosk inside one of the theme parks instead, which does mean paying for park admission just for that particular activity, something the Disney Springs location let guests skip entirely.
