If Sunshine Churros is one of your regular Disney Springs snack stops, you’ve only got one more weekend to visit.

Both Sunshine Churros kiosks at Disney Springs will permanently close following operations on Saturday, September 5, 2026, bringing an end to the longtime walk-up churro locations.
Sunshine Churros currently operates two kiosks across Disney Springs — one in the Marketplace and another on the West Side. Both are closing.
That means September 5 is your last opportunity to grab one of the kiosks’ classic or over-the-top gourmet churros before they disappear from Disney Springs.
Sunshine Churros has been a relatively simple Disney Springs snack stop: walk up, pick your flavor, and continue exploring. The current menu includes a Classic Churro for $6.25, coated in cinnamon sugar. For something a little more elaborate, the Gourmet Churros cost $7.99 and come with sugar flavoring, drizzle, and dipping sauce.
Current flavors include: Dulce de Leche, Oreo Cheesecake, Grandma’s Homemade Apple Pie, Salted Caramel Delight, Fruity Pebble Cereal, and Strawberry Cheesecake.
Unlike the traditional churros found throughout Walt Disney World, Sunshine Churros has largely distinguished itself through those specialty flavors and toppings.
The Disney Springs kiosks have been around since 2019, with Sunshine Churros becoming a familiar snack option at both ends of the shopping and dining district.
Now, after roughly seven years, both locations are going away at the same time.

No replacements have been announced for either Sunshine Churros kiosk.
The closure comes as Disney Springs continues to see changes to its dining lineup, but there is currently no confirmed connection between the Sunshine Churros closures and any other upcoming restaurant or snack concept. We also don’t know whether Sunshine Churros could eventually return elsewhere at Walt Disney World.
All that’s currently confirmed is that the Marketplace and West Side kiosks will permanently close after September 5.
This newest closure seems surprisingly close to recent announcements by Disney to start offering large batches of new churro creations coming to locations throughout the resort this fall.
Those include Cookie Butter Mini Churros at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a Churro Strawberry Shortcake Sundae at EPCOT, Churro Overdrive at Magic Kingdom, a DOLE Whip Pineapple and Churro Sundae at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and even a Family Churros serving featuring 21 bite-size churros at EPCOT. So Disney certainly isn’t moving away from the snack itself. But if you’re specifically a fan of Sunshine Churros’ specialty flavors, that’s a different story.
If you’re heading to Disney Springs this weekend and want one final Oreo Cheesecake, Fruity Pebble Cereal, Salted Caramel Delight, or classic cinnamon-sugar churro, now is the time. Disney has not announced replacement concepts for either kiosk, so we’ll be watching closely to see what eventually moves into the Marketplace and West Side spaces.
