JetBlue has officially joined Disney World’s Airport Luggage Transfer program, giving guests flying that airline one more reason to skip baggage claim entirely on their next trip.
If you’ve never used this service before, this is the kind of quiet, unglamorous perk that makes a genuinely noticeable difference on travel day.
JetBlue now joins American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines as eligible carriers for Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer program, which handles bag delivery between Orlando International Airport and six select Disney Resort hotels. The service works in both directions: guests arriving on an eligible flight can register in advance and have checked bags delivered directly to their resort, typically within about four hours of landing, skipping baggage claim entirely. Guests heading home instead drop bags at Luggage Assistance or Bell Services in their resort lobby and skip the airline check-in counter at the airport on departure day.
This program has actually had a fairly bumpy road getting to this point. Airport Luggage Transfer returned as a pilot program back in March 2025, launching with just Pop Century Resort and Southwest Airlines. It expanded quickly to cover all five Value Resorts, then added inbound service for arrivals that November, having initially only handled outbound bags for departing guests. American Airlines and United Airlines joined in May 2026, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort became the program’s first Moderate Resort in August 2026, bringing the hotel count to six: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, Art of Animation, Pop Century, and Caribbean Beach. There’s also been a genuinely odd wrinkle along the way: Delta Air Lines was briefly added to the eligible airline list back in June 2026, then quietly removed the same day, with Disney calling it a listing error. That’s now happened at least twice, so Delta flyers shouldn’t assume they’re covered just because the airline briefly showed up on Disney’s site before.
It’s worth remembering this service is really a rebuilt version of something Disney used to offer for free to every single resort guest, regardless of hotel tier or airline, for years before it was quietly discontinued. Watching it come back piece by piece, one airline and one resort tier at a time, has been a slower rollout than a lot of longtime guests expected, but each addition genuinely does chip away at the gap between what Disney used to offer and what it offers now.

Enrollment opens up to 30 days before your flight and closes 24 hours prior, and it’s completely free to use. If you’re staying somewhere not yet on the eligible list, Disney has continued to add resorts every few months, so it’s worth checking back before you assume you’re out of luck.
