Getting your luggage home from Disney World just got a little easier for even MORE guests.

Starting today, August 18th, Walt Disney World has expanded its Airport Luggage Transfer program to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, making Caribbean Beach the first Disney Moderate Resort to offer the service.

The complimentary program was previously available at select Disney Value Resorts and allows eligible guests to hand off their checked luggage at their Disney Resort before heading to the airport.

Guests staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort can now take advantage of Airport Luggage Transfer when departing Walt Disney World.

The service continues to be available at participating Disney Value Resorts, but Caribbean Beach marks the program’s first expansion into Disney’s Moderate Resort category.

There is one important restriction travelers need to know: Airport Luggage Transfer is currently only available for guests flying with American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, or United Airlines.

So, if you’re staying at Caribbean Beach and flying home on one of those three participating airlines, you may now have one less thing to worry about on departure day.

And anyone who has ever tried to squeeze in one final park morning while simultaneously figuring out what to do with a suitcase knows that can be a pretty nice perk.

Disney has not announced additional Moderate or Deluxe Resorts joining the program at this time, but Caribbean Beach becoming the first Moderate Resort is certainly something we’ll be watching.
