Getting to and from Walt Disney World just got a little easier!
Disney has officially expanded its FREE Airport Luggage Transfer service to three additional Walt Disney World Resort hotels, giving more guests a convenient way to travel without worrying about hauling checked luggage through Orlando International Airport.

The latest expansion, announced October 29, 2026, brings the program to nine participating Disney Resort hotels. And for the first time, every Disney World Moderate Resort is now included!
THREE More Disney World Resorts Added to Airport Luggage Transfer!
The newest additions to Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer program are:
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including Gran Destino Tower
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
These resorts join Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, which became the first Moderate Resort to offer the service in August 2026.
With the latest expansion, guests staying at any of Disney World’s four Moderate Resorts can now take advantage of the complimentary luggage service, provided they meet the airline and flight requirements.
All NINE Participating Disney World Resorts
Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer service is currently available at the following resorts:
Value Resorts:
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Moderate Resorts:
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
At this time, Disney’s Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts are not included in the program. Disney has indicated that additional resorts could be added in the future, but no further expansion dates have been announced.
Which Airlines Are Included?
Guests must be flying on an eligible domestic flight with one of four participating airlines:
- American Airlines
- JetBlue
- Southwest Airlines
- United Airlines
JetBlue was the most recent airline added to the program, joining the lineup in September 2026. The service is currently limited to domestic flights arriving at or departing from Orlando International Airport (MCO). Guests traveling internationally or flying with other airlines are not eligible at this time.
How Does Disney’s FREE Airport Luggage Transfer Work?
The program, operated by BagCheck, allows eligible Disney Resort guests to transfer checked luggage between Orlando International Airport and their hotel without having to handle their bags at the airport.

And yes, the luggage transfer itself is complimentary! Standard airline baggage fees and optional gratuities are not included.
Arriving at Walt Disney World
Guests planning to use the service when flying into Orlando must register online between 30 days and 24 hours before their departure flight. You’ll need your Disney Resort reservation confirmation number and airline flight confirmation number to register.
Once enrolled:
- Check in for your flight and drop off your checked luggage with your airline as usual.
- Fly into Orlando International Airport.
- Skip baggage claim and head directly to your Disney Resort.
- Your checked bags will be transported separately to your hotel.
- Retrieve your luggage from Bell Services or arrange for delivery to your room.
Disney advises that luggage can take up to four hours after your flight arrives to reach your resort. Guests who register more than seven days before their flight will receive special luggage tags in the mail. Those registering closer to departure can still participate without receiving mailed tags.
Leaving Walt Disney World
The service also works for guests heading home! Instead of taking your checked bags to the airport, eligible guests can drop them off at their Disney Resort’s Luggage Assistance or Bell Services location. Luggage must be dropped off between 24 hours and four hours before the scheduled flight departure. Guests must check in for their flight online and present a valid government-issued photo ID and boarding pass when dropping off their luggage.
From there, guests can travel to Orlando International Airport without their checked bags, proceed through airport security, and collect their luggage at baggage claim when they reach their final destination.

One important reminder: this service does NOT include airport transportation. Guests are still responsible for arranging their own transportation between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World.
What Should Guests Keep in Their Carry-On?
Because checked luggage can take several hours to reach the resort, Disney recommends keeping important items with you. That includes medications, electronics, travel documents, and anything you’ll need immediately upon arrival.
For families planning to head straight to the pool or theme parks, it’s also a good idea to pack swimsuits, sunscreen, and other first-day essentials in a carry-on bag. This way, you can start enjoying your vacation without waiting for your checked luggage to arrive!

My Take
I’m glad to see Disney continue expanding this service! One of the things I miss most about Disney’s Magical Express is how easy it made arriving at Walt Disney World, especially when traveling with kids and multiple suitcases. While this isn’t quite the same experience, being able to skip baggage claim and have your luggage delivered directly to your resort is a really nice convenience.
I’m especially happy to see both Port Orleans resorts and Coronado Springs added to the lineup. These are popular resort options, and I think families staying there will appreciate having one less thing to worry about on arrival and departure days. Now I’m just hoping Disney eventually brings this service to Deluxe Resorts, too!
