Skipping the airport check-in line at Disney World just got a whole lot easier!

If you’ve ever dreaded that final day of your Disney trip — hauling luggage, waiting in long airport lines, and trying to squeeze in last-minute park time — this update is about to change your checkout routine in the best way!
Walt Disney World has expanded its Airport Luggage Transfer service, making departure day more seamless for even more guests.

Previously limited to Southwest Airlines, the service now also includes American Airlines and United Airlines, significantly broadening who can take advantage of this time-saving perk.
How the Service Works
Guests staying at select Value Resorts can now check their luggage directly from their hotel before heading to the airport, skipping the airline counter at Orlando International Airport entirely.

Here’s what that means:
- Drop your bags off at your Disney resort
- Head straight to the airport without checking luggage there
- Enjoy more time in the parks or at your resort before leaving
It’s essentially bringing back a fan-favorite level of convenience that many guests have been hoping to see return.
Resorts Currently Offering the Service
At this time, the service is available at the following Value Resorts:
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
This change is a big win for convenience.
By expanding beyond Southwest to include American and United, Disney is making the service accessible to a much larger number of travelers. It also brings back some of the ease guests loved from previous airport transfer offerings.

For many, this means less stress on departure day, more time to enjoy Disney before heading home, and a smoother, more streamlined travel experience.
If you’re planning a Disney stay at a Value Resort, this is definitely a perk to keep in mind when booking your flights. Follow along for more Disney updates soon!
