You know the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is CLOSE when the suitcases start showing up!

With just days to go before the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival officially begins, Disney has started putting the finishing touches on the park, and some of this year’s festival planter displays are officially in place!
We stopped by EPCOT and spotted colorful new Food & Wine Festival displays near Spaceship Earth and around World Showcase, and if you’re anything like us, seeing the festival decor arrive makes that August 27th opening feel VERY real.

One of the most noticeable displays can now be found right in front of Spaceship Earth, giving guests a pretty fantastic festival photo op as soon as they make their way into the park.
This year’s display leans heavily into a travel theme, with stacks of colorful oversized suitcases filling the planter.
And the details are worth a closer look!

The suitcases are covered in travel stickers representing destinations and flavors from around the world, tying perfectly into the whole idea behind the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival…essentially eating and drinking your way around the globe.
In the center, a large EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival medallion sits in front of Spaceship Earth, surrounded by more luggage, colorful flowers, and celebratory touches.
There’s even a luggage tag teasing exactly what we’re all waiting for: “BOARDING AUGUST 27TH.” Okay, Disney. We get it. We’re ready to board.
There’s Another Food & Wine Display Near World Showcase!
We also spotted another large festival display closer to World Showcase, and this one puts the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival logo front and center.

The sign is surrounded by even more colorful suitcases and travel-inspired details, with silhouettes representing destinations from around World Showcase stretching across the top.
Once again, you’ll find the “Boarding August 27th” luggage tag hanging from the display — continuing the globetrotting theme Disney is using for this year’s festival.

Between the stacked luggage, destination stickers, champagne bottles, food references, and bright pops of burgundy, teal, gold, and pink, these displays definitely feel like a celebration of traveling the world one festival booth at a time.
And that’s pretty much exactly how we approach Food & Wine anyway. The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival officially runs August 27th through November 21st at Walt Disney World. Disney describes this year’s event as a culinary adventure spanning six continents, with Global Marketplaces serving food and beverages throughout EPCOT.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series also begins August 27th, with performances scheduled nightly through November 16th at the America Gardens Theatre.
So, between the festival booths, signage, menus, merchandise locations, and now these new planter displays popping up around EPCOT, the park is quickly transforming for one of its biggest events of the year. And we’re only two days away!

We’ll be keeping a close eye on EPCOT as even more Food & Wine Festival details appear ahead of opening day, and, of course, we’ll be checking out the festival once it officially begins.
