EPCOT just got a new summer hideout, and honestly, air conditioning might be the real headliner here.

Light Lounge

A new summertime venue called Light Lounge at The Odyssey is now open at EPCOT, giving guests another indoor spot to cool off, grab a snack, sip a drink, and enjoy live entertainment during those very warm Walt Disney World park days.

The new lounge is located inside The Odyssey Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Celebration area. While Disney has not officially announced the full purpose of the venue, the timing makes a lot of sense: summer heat is already here, and this gives guests a much-needed air-conditioned space to relax between attractions, dining, and World Showcase laps.

Live Entertainment Moves Indoors

In addition to snacks and drinks, Max & Aydar will be performing inside Light Lounge at The Odyssey.

The duo is a variety act known for engaging the audience while performing impressive acts of skill. Moving the act indoors gives guests a way to enjoy entertainment without standing out in the summer sun, which is very much a win in EPCOT weather.

A New Summer Break Spot at EPCOT

Between the air conditioning, quick bites, cold beverages, frozen slushes, and live entertainment, Light Lounge at The Odyssey feels like it could become a helpful summer stop for EPCOT guests looking to recharge.

More seating inside

The venue is now open, so guests visiting EPCOT can stop by The Odyssey Pavilion to check out the new lounge, try the limited menu, and catch Max & Aydar during their indoor performances.
