This may be one of the most elegant pieces of Epic Universe merchandise we’ve seen yet!
Universal Orlando has officially debuted a brand-new LUG Skeeter bag at Epic Universe ahead of the park’s upcoming one-year anniversary celebration, and this new accessory looks like it was pulled straight out of Celestial Park itself.
Universal first teased this new partnership with LUG several weeks ago, and now we’re finally able to lay eyes on them in the park! LUG has just released their newest skeeter bag featuring Epic Universe’s Celestial Park design, and we have to admit it stopped us in our tracks at first sight.
The new bag is currently available for $75 at both Sensorium and Other Worlds Marketplace inside Epic Universe.
The bag itself is a compact LUG Skeeter-style crossbody bag featuring a rich royal blue satin-like material with gold accents throughout. The front showcases a circular pouch compartment embroidered with a celestial compass star design in metallic gold stitching, surrounded by smaller gold embroidered dots that perfectly match Epic Universe’s cosmic aesthetic.
Above the circular pocket, guests will find the Epic Universe logo plaque attached with metallic gold hardware details and matching gold zipper accents.
The bag also includes a shimmering gold top handle along with adjustable straps on the back, making it easy to wear throughout a long park day without carrying a bulky backpack.
On the back of the bag, the detailing continues with gold embroidered artwork inspired by the Chronos tower at the entrance of Epic Universe. There’s also a small Universal Studios LUG badge stitched near the bottom.
The overall design feels VERY inspired by Celestial Park’s color palette and architecture, especially with the deep blue fabric and metallic gold embroidery that mirrors the land’s nighttime atmosphere.
With Epic Universe’s one-year anniversary celebration already underway, Universal has slowly started rolling out more specialty merchandise around the park, and this LUG collaboration already looks like it could become one of the standout anniversary items.
