If you have a kid in your house who can recite Dude Perfect videos from memory, today is a big day.

The Walt Disney Company and Dude Perfect announced a company-wide creative partnership on October 15, 2026, and this one has a lot of moving parts.
Dude Perfect will create original content for their own channels that is inspired by Disney franchises and events. Select Dude Perfect content will also show up on Disney+. On top of that, Disney gets access to a selection of Dude Perfect’s existing short-form library, which will be distributed across Disney+, ESPN, and Disney’s social platforms. So this isn’t one video or one special. It’s a whole creative relationship spread across the Disney universe.
And the list of planned collaborations is the kind that makes you do a double-take. Dude Perfect is set to work on content tied to Super Bowl LXI, the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, and Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. There’s also Avengers-themed content planned for their series Overtime. Picture it: the same crew that turned trick shots into a global obsession, now bringing that energy to a galaxy far, far away and a certain team of superheroes. I’m not going to pretend I’m not curious about the Star Wars one.

Now here’s the part that really makes this a Theme Park Scope story. This isn’t Disney and Dude Perfect’s first rodeo together. Last year, the Dude Perfect crew took on a challenge to visit all 12 Disney parks worldwide in under 75 hours, in an attempt to set a world record. The video pulled in more than 13 million views in its first 24 hours and became the channel’s number two best-performing YouTube upload. It also raised more than $1.2 million in donations for Make-A-Wish. That’s a lot of good coming from a very long, very tiring trip around the world. If you ever want to feel inspired to plan a Disney vacation, watch a group of guys sprint through every Disney park on the planet. I’m tired just writing that.
So why would Disney go all in? The numbers tell the story. Dude Perfect has 130 million followers and more than 22 billion lifetime views. The company started with Texas A&M students posting trick-shot videos 17 years ago, and has grown into one of the biggest family-friendly creator brands out there. That is a built-in audience of kids and parents who already love Disney, and who already watch together. For Disney, that’s about as good a match as you can get.
Two voices from the announcement stood out to me. Asad Ayaz, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer at The Walt Disney Company, said, “Disney has always been a place where great storytellers come to create.” And Dude Perfect co-founder Garrett Hilbert shared, “Disney taught us to go big and dream, and that has shaped everything we’ve built.” That second quote tells you this isn’t just a business deal for them. Disney has clearly shaped how they think about their work.

For families, here’s what I think the real win is. The kids who love Dude Perfect are getting a bridge into Disney+, ESPN, and Disney franchises. The kids who love Star Wars and Marvel get to see their favorites through a totally different, playful lens. And parents get something many of us are always hunting for: content that works for a mix of ages and doesn’t make anyone leave the room. I can’t promise it will be perfect, but the lineup has real potential for family movie nights and big game days alike.
The announcement also lists parks and experiences as one of the categories in the partnership. That has me wondering what Dude Perfect might get up to next, given what they’ve already done in the parks. I’ll let you know as soon as there’s more to share.

I think this is a smart, fun move. Disney is meeting families where they already are, and Dude Perfect is one of those rare creators that parents are actually okay with their kids watching. Add Star Wars, Marvel, and the Super Bowl to the mix, and I think there’s real potential here. What gets me most is the 12 parks in 75 hours stunt, because it proves these guys already love this stuff. That kind of enthusiasm doesn’t feel forced, and it’s exactly what a partnership like this needs. I’ll be watching with popcorn.
Theme Park Scope will keep following this partnership, so you don’t miss a thing, plus all the Disney news you’re craving. Tell me in the comments: which franchise would you most want to see Dude Perfect tackle first, Star Wars, Marvel or something else? I’m dying to know what your family would pick!
