Well, that didn’t take long.

The maiden voyage of Disney Believe, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, sold out during Castaway Club early booking. Before the general public even got a chance to click “book,” the very first sailing was gone. Disney cruise fans do not play around.
If you missed the boat on that one (sorry, couldn’t resist), don’t panic, because there’s a lot more to this first season than one sailing. Here’s the rundown.
Disney Believe is set to sail her maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That first cruise is a five-night trip to Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and Nassau. The listed starting price for the maiden voyage was $6,444 for two guests in an inside stateroom, which, as you can imagine, did not scare off the people who wanted it.
The booking schedule has been rolling out in stages by Castaway Club level. Pearl members booked October 12, Platinum members, along with Golden Oak and Walt Disney World Club 33 members, booked October 13, and Gold members booked October 14, which is today. Silver members, Disney Vacation Club members, and Adventures by Disney Insiders book October 15. General public booking opens October 19, 2026.

Now let’s talk about the rest of the inaugural season, because there are plenty of options. The schedule includes 29 sailings from December 2027 through early May 2028. Most of them are four- and five-night trips to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, with stops at Disney Castaway Cay, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Nassau, and on some five-night trips, Cozumel in the Western Caribbean. Later sailings were listed at roughly $2,683 to $6,444 for two guests in an inside stateroom, so there’s a wide range depending on the date.
If you’re wondering why everyone is clamoring for this ship, let me tell you what’s on board. Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. She’s been described as a “best of” ship, with lots of fan-favorite venues carried over from her sister ships, including Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, Worlds of Marvel, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, and the Haunted Mansion Parlor. And then there’s the new stuff.
The Grand Hall will feature a Moana statue with Pua and Heihei, ocean-inspired carpet, and a chandelier. There’s a piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto called Sea Notes, an adults-only lounge themed to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs called Wishing Well, and an observatory-themed pub called Skygazers. For dinner, there’s Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a brand new dinner show with Oaken and his cousins. The entertainment lineup includes Encanto, which is exclusive to Believe, plus Tangled: The Musical and Disney Seas the Adventure.

There’s also Gazelle, a two-story entertainment hub themed to Zootopia, with daytime family activities and nighttime adult programming, including a new Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde interactive show. Add in two new cafes, Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, and an Oceaneer Club entrance themed to Monsters, Inc., and you’ve got a ship that feels packed with Disney love.
For families, the stateroom details are good news. About 70 percent of staterooms have verandas, and there are more than 450 connecting doors, which is a big deal if you’re traveling with a big group or multiple generations. Whether it’s grandparents, cousins, or a pack of kids, that flexibility makes planning a lot easier.
We love our travel partners at Adventure Awaits Travel Company. If you’re eyeing one of these sailings, they offer free trip planning that saves you time and helps you find the best value, and with sailings moving this fast, having someone in your corner while you compare dates and staterooms is a big relief.

I’m not surprised at all. A brand new Disney ship, a Moana statue greeting you in the Grand Hall, an Encanto show you can’t see anywhere else, and a Zootopia hangout space? Of course the maiden voyage sold out. I’d have been on that booking page the second it opened, too.
If you missed it, my advice is simple. Look closely at the other early sailings, especially the five-night itineraries, and decide how flexible your dates can be. With public booking opening October 19, the best choices may go quickly. And if you don’t get the date you wanted, remember that this ship is going to be sailing for years. There will always be another chance to see that Grand Hall.
