If you’ve got any soft spot for Fantasia, the Vera Bradley store at Disney Springs’ Town Center just gave you a genuinely good reason to make a stop.

We swung by to check out the new Sorcerer Mickey collection in person, and it’s easily one of the more visually striking Disney collaborations Vera Bradley has put out in a while.

This collection is really built around two different design directions, both drawing from Fantasia’s iconic Sorcerer’s Apprentice sequence:

The swirling, illustrated print — a busy, jewel-toned pattern in blues, purples, and teals featuring Sorcerer Mickey mid-spell, the enchanted brooms carrying their buckets, musical notes, and scattered stars woven throughout. This print shows up across the bulk of the collection.

The solid blue embroidered line — a richer, plush navy-blue fabric with Sorcerer Mickey embroidered standing on a crescent moon, surrounded by appliquéd stars and silver-threaded music notes. This softer, more subdued look shows up on a smaller handful of pieces.

Here’s a rundown of what we saw on the shelves:

  • Large Backpack (swirling print) — a full-size quilted backpack with the Sorcerer Mickey print running across the whole exterior, (the store had this one paired with a matching zip pouch keychain in the embroidered moon design)
  • Small Original Vera Tote (embroidered moon design) — a solid blue quilted tote featuring Sorcerer Mickey embroidered on his signature crescent moon, with stars and music notes stitched around him
  • Wizard Hat Zip Pouch — a genuinely fun novelty piece shaped like Sorcerer Mickey’s own hat, in soft plush blue with embroidered stars and a moon
  • Large Tote (swirling print) — a roomy quilted tote in the busy illustrated pattern, (the store had this one finished with a rubber Sorcerer Mickey face charm on the zipper pull)
  • Weekender Duffel Bag (swirling print) — a large duffel in the same illustrated pattern, ideal for anyone wanting their carry-on to match the rest of the set
  • Crossbody Bag (swirling print) — a compact crossbody with an adjustable strap, fully covered in the Sorcerer Mickey illustrated print
  • Wristlets and Coin Purses (both prints) — smaller accessory pieces available in both the swirling illustrated print and the plush embroidered moon design
  • Wallet/Card Case (swirling print) — a compact wallet matching the tote and backpack
  • Mickey Ear-Shaped Zip Pouches — small, ear-shaped plush pouches in the embroidered moon design, hung together on a display rack and genuinely one of the cuter novelty items in the whole lineup
  • Sorcerer Mickey Bag Charm/Keychain — a rubber charm shaped like Sorcerer Mickey’s face and hat, sold both attached to bags and separately

This collection is currently only available in person at the Vera Bradley store in Disney Springs’ Town Center. Disney Springs-exclusive Vera Bradley collections typically stay in-store only for a window before eventually moving to shopDisney.com and VeraBradley.com, and this one is expected to make that jump after September 24.

If you’re hoping to snag a specific piece once this collection goes online, it’s worth knowing that Vera Bradley’s quilted patterns are cut individually for each bag, meaning where the design actually lands on your specific piece is somewhat left to chance when you order online — you might get a great placement with Mickey front and center, or you might not. If getting a specific look matters to you, it’s worth calling the Disney Springs store directly at (407) 828-0040 to check current inventory. A real associate can pull pieces for you and help you pick out a bag or accessory with the exact placement you’re hoping for, rather than leaving it up to however the pattern happens to fall when ordered sight-unseen online.

We’ll let you know once this collection officially lands online, so check back with Theme Park Scope for updates.
