Murder of Crowz is back for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood!

But this year it’s getting a promotion…and honestly, I did not expect to describe a flock of terrifying crows as “getting a promotion,” yet here we are.

Announced on Instagram, the setup is exactly as unsettling as you’d hope: you’ve wandered into a massive crow’s nest, and now the flock is defending its territory by descending on you in a feathered rage, ready to peck your bones clean. Cool, cool, cool, love that for me!

Here’s the twist, though — after running as a scare zone in both 2024 and 2025, Murder of Crowz is shifting to a street experience for 2026. If you’re not familiar with the distinction, street experiences lean more into the dance-party side of things compared to a traditional scare zone, so expect this one to bring a little more rhythm to go with the raw feathered terror. It joins Shriek of the Banshee as this year’s second confirmed street experience.

As for the rest of the lineup surrounding it: Halloween Horror Nights 2026 runs select nights from September 3 through November 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood, with haunted houses including Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, Evil Dead Burn, Hellraiser, Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Killceañera (featuring music by Slash), and Dead, Deader, Deadest. Scare zones this year include Blood Bog, Fortnite, Hackerz, and El Circo de la Muerte, and Nikki from Obsession is set to make appearances throughout the event as well. Rounding things out, this year’s Terror Tram stars Art the Clown, and The Purge: Dangerous Waters is returning to the WaterWorld amphitheater.

Between the house lineup, the scare zones, and now a genuinely creepy crow-based dance party, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 is shaping up to be a pretty stacked one at USH.

Are you excited to face down the flock at Murder of Crowz this year? Let me know if you’re brave enough to survive the crow’s nest!
