Forget what the calendar says — it’s officially spooky season at Disneyland!

Disneyland is getting dressed up for Halloween, and one of the park’s most recognizable fall icons has officially returned to Main Street, U.S.A.

The massive Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern is once again greeting guests in Town Square, while orange, yellow, and red fall decorations are popping up throughout Main Street ahead of the official start of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.

And if seeing that giant pumpkin doesn’t immediately make you want a Halloween churro, I’m not sure what will.

The centerpiece of Disneyland’s Main Street Halloween decorations has officially returned. The giant Mickey jack-o’-lantern is once again sitting in the flowerbed at the center of Town Square, surrounded by smaller pumpkins and seasonal yellow and orange flowers.

And remember to check out BOTH sides.

One side features Mickey with a traditional wide-eyed smile, while the side facing Sleeping Beauty Castle features a different expression with Mickey winking and sporting a lopsided grin.

Basically, he’s ready for his annual appearance in approximately 47,000 Disneyland vacation photos.

The Mickey pumpkin isn’t the only sign that Halloween is nearly here.

Autumnal bunting has also returned throughout Main Street, U.S.A., with red, yellow, and orange striped decorations appearing across Town Square buildings, including the Main Street train station and Emporium.

The semi-circle bunting hangs from rooftops and overhangs, while the Americana bunting previously displayed above the Emporium’s main entrance has also been swapped for its fall counterpart.

Guests can also spot smaller Mickey jack-o’-lanterns atop striped banners attached to Main Street lampposts, surrounded by autumn leaves.

In other words, Main Street is quickly making the transition from summer to spooky.

The decorations are arriving just in time.

Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort officially begins August 21st, 2026, bringing seasonal entertainment, attraction overlays, food, merchandise, characters, and plenty more Halloween fun to the resort.

But the separately ticketed Halloween festivities actually start even sooner.

Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party begins August 18th at Disney California Adventure.

So while Halloween Time technically hasn’t officially begun just yet, Disneyland certainly looks ready for it.

The Mickey pumpkin is smiling. The fall bunting is up. Main Street is covered in orange. Yep. Spooky season has officially entered the chat.
