Disneyland Resort has announced a brand-new entertainment offering for this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash, and it’s bringing the spirits of the Haunted Mansion out into the streets of Disney California Adventure.
“Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake — A Haunted Mansion Street Party” will debut during this year’s Halloween after-hours event, giving guests an all-new way to celebrate one of Disney’s most beloved attractions.
Disney has revealed that “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” will be part of this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash lineup at Disney California Adventure.
According to Disney, the new experience:
“Will bring familiar and iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion to the streets of Disney California Adventure.”
While Disney has not yet revealed the full details of the entertainment offering, the announcement suggests guests can expect references, characters, music, and memorable moments inspired by the legendary Haunted Mansion attraction.
A New Haunted Mansion Experience for Halloween
The addition marks one of the newest entertainment offerings announced for Oogie Boogie Bash and expands the event’s lineup of exclusive Halloween experiences.
The Haunted Mansion has long been one of Disney Parks’ most iconic attractions, featuring fan-favorite characters such as Madame Leota, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, the Caretaker, the Haunted Mansion residents, and the attraction’s famous 999 happy haunts.
Now, it appears some of those eerie elements may be stepping beyond the mansion and into Disney California Adventure for an all-new Halloween celebration.

At this time, Disney has not announced exactly where the street party will take place, how frequently it will be offered, or which Haunted Mansion characters and scenes will be featured.
However, the use of the phrase “Swinging Wake” immediately evokes one of the attraction’s most famous scenes — the lively graveyard celebration that concludes the Haunted Mansion experience.
Fans will likely be watching closely for additional announcements as Disney reveals more details about this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash entertainment lineup.
Oogie Boogie Bash Continues to Expand
The addition of Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake continues Disney’s efforts to introduce new entertainment offerings to Oogie Boogie Bash, which has become one of the most popular Halloween events at any Disney park.
This year’s event will once again take place across 33 select nights at Disney California Adventure, featuring exclusive entertainment, treat trails, rare character encounters, Halloween décor, specialty food and beverages, and villain-inspired experiences throughout the park.
