A brand-new food cart is officially on its way to the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. Big Boi Lumpia Co., a Los Angeles favorite known for its Filipino comfort food, has announced it will soon bring its signature lumpia and other beloved dishes to The Happiest Place on Earth. Big Boi Lumpia Co. has announced that it will soon open a new food cart at Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. The company shared the news on social media, teasing that the location is coming “very soon” and confirming in the comments that guests can expect the new offering to operate as a cart rather than a traditional restaurant.
Founded by Chef Barb Batiste, Big Boi Lumpia Co. is a Los Angeles-based restaurant specializing in Filipino comfort food inspired by classic family recipes and childhood favorites. The restaurant’s name pays tribute to Chef Barb’s late father, affectionately known as “Boi,” while its menu celebrates the rich flavors and traditions of Filipino cuisine.
While Disney has not revealed the full menu for the Downtown Disney location, Big Boi’s existing offerings include:
- Classic lumpia (Filipino-style crispy spring rolls)
- Chicken adobo
- Pork sisig
- House-made Spam
- Pancit noodles
- Fresh-baked pan de sal
- Food-for-the-Gods dessert
Of course, guests can expect plenty of savory and sweet varieties of the restaurant’s signature lumpia served with its house dipping sauces.
