Well, well, well…the Disneyland app may have just given us one of our clearest signs yet that two highly anticipated Downtown Disney restaurants are getting closer to opening.

Disney has updated the digital map for Disneyland, and two major new dining locations are now officially appearing in Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. While Disney has not announced an official opening date just yet, current speculation points to a possible July 2026 opening, and honestly, this map update is making that timeline feel a little more real.
The latest Disneyland digital map update now shows the new Earl of Sandwich location in Downtown Disney, along with Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, the new table-service restaurant coming above it.

This new two-story dining location has been one of the most-watched Downtown Disney construction projects, especially as the district continues its major dining and entertainment transformation. Disney has previously confirmed that the ground level will be home to a quick-service Earl of Sandwich, while the upstairs space will feature Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, an all-new British-inspired gastropub.
What Is Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby?
Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is expected to bring a 1960s London-inspired dining experience to the Disneyland Resort, with a theme tied to the “British Invasion” era of U.K. pop and rock music. The restaurant has been described as a table-service gastropub and is expected to feature Ramsay-style British favorites, including dishes like beef Wellington, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding.
The restaurant will sit above Earl of Sandwich, making this a pretty major new dining destination for Downtown Disney visitors who want something beyond the usual grab-and-go theme park meal.
Could These Downtown Disney Restaurants Open in July 2026?
That’s the big question.
Right now, Disney has not officially announced an opening date for either the new Earl of Sandwich or Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. However, with the locations now appearing on the Disneyland Resort digital map, rumors are pointing toward a potential July 2026 opening window.

Of course, until Disney confirms that date, consider it speculation, but digital map updates are often a pretty good sign that things are moving along behind the scenes.
Downtown Disney’s Dining Glow-Up Continues
This update is another sign that Downtown Disney is continuing its major transformation at the Disneyland Resort. With newer additions like Din Tai Fung, Parkside Market, Paseo, and Centrico already helping refresh the area, the arrival of Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby could make Downtown Disney an even bigger dining destination for Disneyland guests. And yes, Gordon Ramsay at Disneyland? That still feels a little wild to type.
For now, we’ll be watching closely for an official opening date, menus, reservation details, and any first-look previews from Disney.
