If you’re visiting Disney Springs soon, you may notice new signs warning guests about a major transportation change.

Walt Disney World is giving guests an early heads-up about a significant transportation policy change coming later this month.
New warning signage has been installed throughout Disney Springs, notifying guests that permanent transportation restrictions will take effect beginning June 28, 2026. The signs have been placed at bus stops and the Sassagoula River Cruise dock to ensure guests are aware of the upcoming changes before they attempt to board.
What Is Changing?
Starting June 28, only the following guests will be permitted to use Disney Resort buses and the Sassagoula River Cruise departing from Disney Springs:
- Guests with a confirmed Disney Resort hotel reservation
- Guests with a confirmed dining reservation at a Disney Resort hotel
- Guests with another eligible resort experience reservation

Guests will be required to verify their eligibility by scanning a MagicBand, using Disney MagicMobile, or showing a qualifying reservation in the My Disney Experience app before boarding.
Signs Now Posted Throughout Disney Springs
The newly installed signs are located directly at the transportation areas, including resort bus loading zones and the boat dock, giving guests advance notice of the policy before it officially goes into effect.

The update follows Disney’s earlier transportation testing this spring and confirms the restrictions will become a permanent policy rather than a temporary operational measure.
What Guests Should Know
The new restrictions apply only to transportation departing from Disney Springs. Guests without an eligible reservation can still access Disney Resort hotels by using transportation from the theme parks, where applicable, or by using other available transportation options.

If you’re planning a Disney Springs visit after June 28, it’s worth reviewing your transportation plans ahead of time to avoid unexpected delays.
