One of Disney World’s most beloved nightlife locations is getting a brand-new replacement, and Disney just shared the first details.

Disney

After months of speculation following the closure of Jellyrolls, Walt Disney World has officially announced Hurly-Burly, a brand-new waterfront lounge coming to Disney’s BoardWalk. The new venue will combine daytime family fun with an adults-only live music experience at night, making it one of the most exciting new additions coming to Walt Disney World in 2026.

Disney has officially announced that the new venue replacing Jellyrolls will be called Hurly-Burly.

Located along the waterfront at Disney’s BoardWalk, the new lounge draws inspiration from a historic seaside theater and the nostalgic charm of early Atlantic coast boardwalks. Disney describes the space as a destination where guests can enjoy “fun-filled afternoons and glamorous evenings” in an atmosphere that blends vintage elegance with lively entertainment.

Concept art released by Disney showcases a richly themed interior featuring warm wood tones, theatrical lighting, plush seating, and large windows overlooking Crescent Lake.

Family Fun During the Day

Hurly-Burly won’t just be a nighttime destination. Throughout the afternoon, the lounge will welcome guests of all ages with interactive activities, including live trivia hosted by an energetic emcee, family-friendly games, interactive entertainment, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere.

Disney says the goal is to create a space where families can gather for fun before the evening entertainment begins.

Live Music Takes Over at Night

As the sun sets, Hurly-Burly will transform into an adults-only entertainment venue.

Guests 21 and older can enjoy live musical performances, coastal-inspired cocktails, light bites and shareable snacks, and a lively waterfront atmosphere.

While Disney hasn’t revealed exactly what style of music will be featured, the company says the entertainment will complement the unique nightlife already found around Disney’s BoardWalk.

Unlike Jellyrolls, which was known for its dueling pianos, Disney has not announced whether Hurly-Burly will feature a similar format.

Replacing a BoardWalk Favorite

Hurly-Burly will occupy the former Jellyrolls location after the longtime dueling piano bar closed earlier this year following nearly three decades on Disney’s BoardWalk.

The announcement answers months of speculation about what would replace one of Walt Disney World’s most iconic nightlife destinations.

While longtime fans may miss Jellyrolls, Disney appears to be creating an entirely new concept rather than recreating what came before.

Part of a Bigger BoardWalk Transformation

Hurly-Burly is just one piece of Disney’s ongoing investment in Disney’s BoardWalk.

Disney also recently announced a new quick-service restaurant, a new retail shopping experience, as well as additional live entertainment and midway games along the BoardWalk promenade.

Together, these additions continue Disney’s efforts to transform the BoardWalk into an even more vibrant destination for dining, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife.

When Will Hurly-Burly Open?

Disney has not yet announced an official opening date for Hurly-Burly, but the company says the lounge is expected to debut later in 2026.

Additional details (including the menu, entertainment lineup, and opening timeline) will be shared in the coming months. If the concept art is any indication, Hurly-Burly is shaping up to become one of the most anticipated new lounges at Walt Disney World.

We’ll continue following construction progress and announcements as Disney shares more information about Hurly-Burly and the ongoing transformation of Disney’s BoardWalk.
