Disney World’s most tucked-away villas are getting a glow-up — and yes, there are hidden Disney details involved!

If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a treehouse at Walt Disney World, Disney just gave us a brand-new look inside the refreshed Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
The reimagined villas are located along the Sassagoula River, tucked into the woodlands and raised on stilts for that true treehouse feel. Now, Disney is updating the three-bedroom villas with a refreshed design inspired by New England craftsmanship and the Arts and Crafts movement, while still tying the look back to the overall Saratoga Springs resort aesthetic.
A New Look for the Treehouse Villas
Disney shared that the updated Treehouse Villas feature new finishes, furniture, and fixtures throughout the space.

The refreshed interiors lean into a warm, nature-inspired look, with rich colors, wood and stone finishes, and design choices meant to connect the villas to the wooded setting outside. The goal is a space that still feels playful and tucked-away, while also feeling polished and refreshed.

Basically, it’s treehouse charm, but make it Disney Vacation Club.
What Each Treehouse Villa Includes
Each Treehouse Villa includes three bedrooms and sleeps up to nine guests, making it a strong option for larger families or groups visiting Walt Disney World.

The villas also include:
- A full kitchen
- In-room washer and dryer
- Living and dining areas
- Private decks
- Updated furniture, finishes, and fixtures

The private decks remain one of the big highlights, giving families a place to gather while surrounded by trees and the peaceful resort setting.
Hidden Disney Details Are Part of the Redesign
Of course, this is Disney — so the refresh is not just new furniture and a fresh coat of paint.

Disney says the redesigned villas include more than a dozen hidden character details throughout the space. Guests can look for nature-inspired scenes and Disney Animation references woven into the decor, textiles, artwork, and architecture.

Disney specifically pointed to details inspired by The Fox and the Hound and Sleeping Beauty in wall murals and fine art paintings, along with friends from Cinderella carved into furnishings and tucked into architectural details.

So yes, this is absolutely one of those rooms where you’re going to walk in and immediately start hunting for hidden characters before you even unpack.
When Will the Reimagined Treehouse Villas Debut?
Disney said the reimagined Treehouse Villas will begin debuting over the next few months, with the full renovation expected to wrap later this year.

At this time, Disney has not announced a specific completion date beyond that general timeline.
The Treehouse Villas have always been one of the most unique stays at Walt Disney World, and this reimagining appears to keep the secluded woodland charm while giving the interiors a refreshed, more elevated design.

With updated finishes, three-bedroom layouts, private decks, room for up to nine guests, and hidden Disney character details throughout, the refreshed Treehouse Villas could be an especially fun option for families and Disney Vacation Club guests looking for something a little different from a traditional resort room.
