If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder visiting EPCOT, your next character photo might look a little different.

Disney has made a change to the Annual Passholder-exclusive character meet and greet located inside the Magic Eye Theater at EPCOT.

For the past several months, Passholders visiting the exclusive experience were greeted by Chip ‘n’ Dale in their special Disney World 50th anniversary-inspired outfits. The duo became a popular photo opportunity as part of the ongoing Annual Passholder offerings at the park.

However, guests visiting EPCOT will now find that Chip ‘n’ Dale have stepped aside in favor of a new character meet and greet experience.

Disney has swapped the lovable chipmunks for Donald and Daisy, giving Passholders a new exclusive photo opportunity inside the Magic Eye Theater in World Celebration. But you’ll need to time your visit just right, as Donald and Daisy are only out for this meet and greet swap on Sundays. So don’t worry — you’ll still be able to meet with Chip ‘n’ Dale Monday through Saturday.

The meet and greet remains exclusive to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and continues to operate during designated hours throughout the day. Guests must present a valid Annual Pass and photo ID to access the experience.

Character offerings at the location have changed periodically throughout the year, making repeat visits worthwhile for Passholders hoping to encounter different Disney favorites.

While Chip ‘n’ Dale fans may be disappointed to see the duo depart, Mickey Mouse and Goofy bring plenty of star power to the experience and offer another unique character interaction that isn’t currently available elsewhere in EPCOT.
