How much would you pay to attend the world premiere of the next Avengers movie with Ant-Man himself?
One Marvel fan just answered that question with a six-figure bid.
During a recent charity auction, a guest paid an incredible $100,000 for the opportunity to attend the premiere of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday alongside Paul Rudd. The winning bid came during a fundraising event benefiting Children’s Mercy Kansas City, with all proceeds going toward pediatric cancer research and care.
A $100,000 Bid for a Marvel Experience
The auction took place during Big Slick Kansas City, the annual celebrity charity weekend hosted by Kansas City natives Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, David Koechner, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner. The event raises money for Children’s Mercy Kansas City and marked its 17th year in 2026.
During the live auction, Rudd personally presented one of the night’s most unique experiences: the opportunity for two guests to travel to Los Angeles and attend the Avengers: Doomsday premiere with him. The package also included access to the premiere after-party and the chance to meet fellow cast members throughout the evening.
While describing the experience, Rudd joked about working on “this little independent movie” called Avengers: Doomsday before encouraging attendees to bid on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Bidding Escalated Quickly
As the auction got underway, one attendee stunned the crowd by calling out a bid of $100,000.
The massive bid immediately drew cheers from the audience and ultimately secured the package. Photos and videos from the event showed Rudd making his way through the crowd to celebrate with the winning bidder after the auction concluded.
According to reports from the event, the winning bidder is a longtime supporter of Big Slick and a regular contributor to the fundraiser. Organizers reportedly described the six-figure bid as one of the largest amounts ever paid for a single auction item during the charity event.
All for a Good Cause
While the winning bidder will receive an unforgettable Marvel experience, the biggest winner may be Children’s Mercy Kansas City.
Big Slick began in 2010 as a celebrity poker tournament and has since grown into one of Kansas City’s largest annual fundraising events. Since its founding, the event has raised more than $30 million through auctions, sponsorships, ticket sales, and donations, all benefiting pediatric cancer research and patient care.
The Avengers: Doomsday premiere package was one of several celebrity experiences auctioned off during this year’s event.
Excitement Continues Building for Avengers: Doomsday
The charity auction comes as anticipation continues to grow for Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026. The film is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and features a massive ensemble cast that includes Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu, and many more Marvel favorites.
Rudd will once again reprise his role as Scott Lang, better known to Marvel fans as Ant-Man, after previously appearing in Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Endgame, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
