Reservations for the reimagined Diamond Horseshoe opened tonight, September 29, at 8 PM, a rare evening launch instead of Disney’s usual 7 AM booking window, and the full priced menu is finally out ahead of its October 4 reopening in Liberty Square.

If you’ve been waiting to see both when to book and what you’re actually booking, tonight answers both questions at once.

The evening timing is the detail worth setting a reminder for. Most new Walt Disney World table-service reservations open at the standard 7 AM window, so an 8 PM launch is a genuine departure from the norm. Disney used this same approach last year for Beak & Barrel’s debut in Adventureland, a launch that ran into technical trouble and had to reopen the following week, so tonight’s evening slot is likely designed to keep this booking rush separate from the regular morning crowd rather than competing with it. Walk-ups will still be accepted once the pop-up opens, so a missed reservation window doesn’t necessarily mean you’re shut out entirely.

This marks a real changeover for the space. The Diamond Horseshoe closed for its usual table-service dining back in May to make way for Jessie’s Roundup, a Toy Story-themed activation that ran through Cool KIDS’ Summer and wrapped September 8. Rather than bringing back its old family-style menu, which had mirrored Liberty Tree Tavern’s offerings for years, Disney is relaunching the space as a limited-time lounge with an entirely new Wild West-inspired menu of small plates, cocktails, wine, and beer. One heads-up if you’re eyeing a Halloween trip: the lounge will be closed during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, so it won’t be available on those select evenings. Tonight’s reservation drop even triggered a queue system where guests needed to wait a turn until they were able to search for reservations.

• Sweet Golden Corn Fritters ($12.00) — with cilantro ranch dressing and red chile honey

• A few additional small plates round out the lineup, including a Chipotle Chicken Tostada and a Mini Hot Dog Platter, with small plates overall priced between $12 and $22

• Whinnyin’ Whiskey Lemonade — Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Aperol liqueur, strawberry purée, Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, and basil

• High Plains Huckleberry — 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka, crème de cassis liqueur, lemon juice, and cranberry

If Frontierland dining has felt like an afterthought to you in the past, this new lineup is a genuine attempt to give Diamond Horseshoe its own identity again, rather than functioning as Liberty Tree Tavern’s overflow room. It’s worth remembering this is billed as a limited-time offering, so there’s a real chance Jessie’s Roundup or another activation eventually cycles back through this same space once the pop-up wraps.
