The scares may never stop at Universal Horror Unleashed.

A newly revealed roadmap shown during a Universal Horror Unleashed presentation at Monsterpalooza appears to provide the clearest look yet at what’s coming next for Universal’s year-round horror destination in Las Vegas. The timeline outlines a packed schedule of seasonal events, new experiences, and major additions planned through the end of 2027.
For horror fans, the biggest takeaway is clear: Universal Horror Unleashed is evolving into something much bigger than a permanent collection of haunted houses.

According to the timeline, several seasonal offerings are already planned throughout 2026.
The year begins with the return of Feaster Grievings, which runs from April 1 through April 26. The seasonal event is themed around a fictional unfinished horror film and includes themed entertainment, special food and beverage offerings, character interactions, and a rotten egg hunt with a twisted horror spin on Easter traditions.

One of the most intriguing additions comes later in the summer.
During a previous media preview, Universal Horror Unleashed creative team members teased an “excellent IP” planned for a future summer event. According to Universal, the experience will take over the entire venue and may extend into outdoor spaces as well.

The timeline also appears to reference anime horror programming, suggesting Universal may be looking beyond traditional horror franchises and into new genres and fan communities. While no specific titles have been announced, the tease has already sparked significant speculation among horror fans.
New Experiences Coming in 2027
The roadmap suggests that Universal has no plans to slow down in 2027.
The year is expected to begin with Food Film Frights at Premiere House, continuing the venue’s themed food and entertainment programming.

February will introduce a completely new Valentine’s Day experience, though Universal has not yet shared details about what guests can expect. Given the success of previous seasonal overlays such as Feaster Grievings and Krampus & Kin, many fans expect another holiday-inspired horror twist.
A New Outdoor Horror Experience
One of the most interesting additions on the roadmap appears between June and August 2027.
Universal lists an all-new outdoor experience located in the property’s Flexspace area. Previous comments from the creative team suggested that outdoor areas could potentially be used for additional scare zones or even an entirely new haunted attraction.

This marks one of the first indications that Universal may expand the Horror Unleashed experience beyond its current indoor footprint.
An All-New Haunted House Is Planned
Perhaps the biggest reveal of all appears later in 2027.
The roadmap specifically lists an “All-New Halloween Maze” under a category labeled “New House.” If the plans move forward as shown, it would mark the first major haunted house addition or rotation since Universal Horror Unleashed opened in Las Vegas in August 2025.

Currently, the attraction features four haunted houses:
- Universal Monsters
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre
- Scarecrow: The Reaping
- Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer
The addition of a new house could signal a future where experiences rotate more frequently, giving guests a reason to return throughout the year.
Krampus Returns
The roadmap concludes with the return of Krampus & Kin, which is scheduled to run from November through January.

The holiday horror experience first debuted as a seasonal offering and appears poised to become a recurring annual tradition for the Las Vegas attraction.
A More Dynamic Future
When Universal Horror Unleashed first opened, many fans wondered how a permanent horror attraction could stay fresh year after year.
This roadmap appears to answer that question.
Rather than operating as a static attraction, Universal Horror Unleashed seems poised to function more like a constantly evolving horror venue, featuring rotating seasonal events, new intellectual properties, holiday overlays, outdoor experiences, and even new haunted houses. Universal has not officially confirmed all of the details shown on the timeline, and plans could change before implementation.

Still, for horror fans, the future is looking very promising.
