Your midweek horror plans might need a rewrite.

If you’ve been eyeing a visit to Universal’s year-round haunt soon in Las Vegas, there’s a subtle change that could impact your plans. A newly updated calendar reveals a shift in operating days, and it’s one that trims down your options just a bit.
Based on the latest calendar updates for June, Universal Horror Unleashed appears to be removing Wednesdays from its operating schedule, leaving the experience open Thursday through Sunday for most of the month.

This marks a noticeable shift from previously listed hours, which showed the attraction operating Wednesday through Sunday from 4 PM to 11 PM.
Now, at least for the visible dates through June, that midweek slot is going dark, creating a three-day closure window at the start of each week.

This isn’t a massive overhaul, but it does matter for planning.
With fewer operating days, weekend nights are likely to feel even busier, Thursday becomes the new “earliest” option of the week, and midweek flexibility is slightly reduced.
If you were hoping to dodge crowds with a quieter Wednesday visit, that strategy may need a rethink!
Universal hasn’t officially detailed the reason behind the schedule shift, but it’s not uncommon for newer or seasonal-heavy experiences to adjust hours based on demand patterns.

And Las Vegas crowds tend to spike heading into the weekend anyway, so consolidating operations could help focus staffing and guest flow.
Even with the adjustment, the experience itself isn’t changing. Guests can still expect four immersive haunted houses, live entertainment, and roaming scare actors, as well as themed food, drinks, and interactive spaces, all packed into one of Universal’s most unique, year-round horror offerings.
Schedules shift, offerings evolve, and theme park experiences are always changing. Keep checking back for the latest updates, planning tips, and everything you need to stay one step ahead.
