Get ready to go bananas, Disney fans.

For the first time ever, Banana Ball is coming to Walt Disney World Resort as the wildly popular baseball phenomenon makes its debut at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The fast-paced, entertainment-driven version of baseball will bring two nights of action, comedy, fan interaction, and nonstop energy to Disney World on May 29 and May 30, 2026.
If you’ve never experienced Banana Ball before, think of it as baseball mixed with live entertainment.

Created by the Savannah Bananas organization, Banana Ball features fast-paced gameplay, unique rules designed to keep games moving, fan participation, choreographed dances, comedy, trick plays, and player interactions throughout the game experience.

The sport has exploded in popularity across the country thanks to its family-friendly atmosphere and emphasis on fun over traditional baseball conventions. Disney describes the experience as putting fans directly into the center of the action with an energy that will have guests “dancing in their cleats all night long.”
Who Is Playing at Disney World?
The games at Walt Disney World will feature two of Banana Ball’s newest teams: The Loco Beach Coconuts and The Party Animals.

The teams will face off inside The Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on both May 29 and May 30. While many fans associate Banana Ball with the Savannah Bananas, the Bananas themselves will not be competing in the Disney World games. Instead, guests will get to experience two of the league’s newest and most entertaining franchises.
When and Where Is It Happening?
The games will take place at The Stadium inside the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The schedule includes:
- Pre-game plaza opening at 3:30 PM
- Player appearances beginning at 3:30 PM
- Pre-Party Live at 4:30 PM
- Gates opening at 5:30 PM
- First pitch/showtime at 6:30 PM

Disney and ESPN are also encouraging guests to arrive early to experience the pre-game Banana Ball FanFest festivities.
A New Chapter for ESPN Wide World of Sports
The arrival of Banana Ball marks another major milestone for ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which has hosted everything from MLB Spring Training and professional soccer tournaments to youth championships and international sporting events since opening in 1997. Disney recently highlighted the venue’s evolution and pointed to Banana Ball as the next exciting chapter in the complex’s history.

Disney’s Sportscape team has even been preparing The Stadium specifically for the Banana Ball debut, ensuring the venue is ready for the unique experience.
You Can Watch From Home, Too
If you can’t make it to Walt Disney World, you’ll still be able to catch the action.
The Disney World Banana Ball games are scheduled to stream on Disney+, the ESPN App, and additional ESPN platforms as part of Disney’s expanded partnership with Banana Ball.
