Disney’s Hollywood Studios just quietly opened one of its MOST useful new additions for families visiting the park.

The park’s Baby Care Center has officially relocated from its longtime home near Guest Relations on Hollywood Boulevard to the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The updated facility soft-opened today ahead of the courtyard’s official debut later this week.
The new Baby Care Center is now located directly beside the entrance to The Magic of Disney Animation inside the completely transformed Walt Disney Studios Courtyard area.
The New Location Is MUCH Larger and More Themed
According to first-look photos and guest reports, the relocated Baby Care Center is significantly more spacious and heavily themed compared to the old Hollywood Boulevard location.

The updated facility features a warm animation-inspired design aesthetic that matches the surrounding Walt Disney Studios Courtyard environment.
Inside, guests will find:
- Feeding areas
- High chairs
- Changing tables
- Kitchenette space
- Microwaves
- Sinks
- Quiet nursing areas
- Toddler seating
- Family waiting spaces
…all integrated into the new facility.
Disney also added themed artwork, animation-inspired décor, colorful murals, and updated lighting throughout the space to better connect the Baby Care Center with the surrounding Walt Disney Studios theme.

And honestly? This feels MUCH more like a proper modern family facility than the older tucked-away setup on Hollywood Boulevard.
The Baby Care Center Is Now Part of Walt Disney Studios Courtyard
The relocation is part of Disney’s larger transformation of the former Animation Courtyard area into the new Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, a reimagined space inspired by the real Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

The new courtyard includes the oversized Sorcerer Hat centerpiece, new music and ambient soundscapes, updated pathways, studio-inspired architecture, character details and easter eggs, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre-style handprints, and new landscaping and nighttime lighting throughout the area.

The Baby Care Center now sits directly within this new land rather than remaining near the front entrance of the park.

The new location makes WAY more sense geographically for families spending time around Disney Jr. experiences and the new animation-themed offerings.
Located Beside The Magic of Disney Animation
One of the biggest advantages of the move is its proximity to several family-focused experiences.

The Baby Care Center is now positioned directly beside The Magic of Disney Animation, the returning animation-inspired attraction and experience space currently under development as part of the Walt Disney Studios transformation.
The area is also near Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, Walt Disney Presents, animation-themed experiences, character encounters, and indoor family spaces throughout the courtyard area.

Disney appears to be heavily consolidating younger-family offerings into this section of the park as part of the broader reimagining project.
Another Major Change for Hollywood Studios
The Baby Care Center relocation is just one of MANY recent changes happening around Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Over the past several weeks, the park has also debuted or updated Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets, this new Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, new music loops in multiple locations and environmental theming, updated pathways and entertainment spaces, and The Mandalorian and Grogu overlay for Smugglers Run as Disney continues reshaping large portions of the park.

All making Disney’s Hollywood Studios to begin feeling VERY different compared to even a few months ago!
We’ll continue following additional Walt Disney Studios Courtyard updates, new openings, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios changes, so be sure to check back soon for more Walt Disney World news and updates.
