Disney just surprised Hollywood Studios guests with an EARLY opening today.
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE! is officially soft opening today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios ahead of its full debut on May 26, giving guests their first opportunity to experience Disney’s brand-new interactive Disney Jr. stage show inside the reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard. And it looks like it’s going to be a HUGE hit with families this summer.
Guests visiting Hollywood Studios today discovered that Disney was unexpectedly allowing guests into preview performances of Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE! several days ahead of the attraction’s officially announced opening date.
The new show replaces the former Disney Junior Dance Party! inside Animation Courtyard as part of Disney World’s larger Cool KIDS’ SUMMER rollout happening across all four Walt Disney World theme parks this summer.
The stage production is inspired by both the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series and the newer Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ revival currently airing on Disney Jr. And Disney clearly put WAY more money into this than many fans expected.

The approximately 20-minute stage show begins with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse welcoming guests inside Mickey’s house for a huge party celebration.
But there’s one big problem.
Goofy, Daisy Duck, and Pluto haven’t arrived yet.
Instead of canceling the party, Mickey and Minnie decide to take the celebration on the road to search for their missing friends, leading guests through a colorful, music-filled adventure packed with dancing, singing, interactive moments, and audience participation.
Throughout the experience, guests help Mickey and Minnie track down their friends while moving through multiple scenes featuring original upbeat songs, interactive dance moments, bright animated-style visuals, giant LED screens, colorful set pieces, Disney Jr.-inspired effects, and character appearances from Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto.
The show eventually builds toward a massive high-energy finale once the entire gang reunites for the big clubhouse celebration.
And yes — there is LOTS of dancing.
The Show Is Part of Disney’s Massive Hollywood Studios Transformation
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE! is one of several new additions debuting inside the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard area at Hollywood Studios.
The updated area also includes the returning Sorcerer Hat, new Burbank-inspired theming, expanded pathways and seating, the upcoming Magic of Disney Animation experience, as well as new Disney Jr. offerings and play spaces.
Disney recently removed major construction walls throughout the courtyard, finally allowing guests to begin walking through the transformed space.
While soft openings are happening now, Disney still officially lists May 26 as the grand opening date for Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney has also confirmed the show will offer both standby access and Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections once operations fully begin.
Showtimes currently listed for opening week include multiple performances throughout the day beginning around 10:15 AM and continuing into the evening.
This may quickly become one of the most popular kid-focused experiences anywhere at Walt Disney World this summer.
