One of Disney’s most underrated resort lounges is finally getting ready to reopen.

After closing earlier this year for refurbishment, Crew’s Cup Lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort now officially has a reopening date at Walt Disney World.

According to updated Walt Disney World operating hours, Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to reopen on May 10, 2026, following its refurbishment closure that began back on February 23.

The lounge is located adjacent to Yachtsman Steakhouse inside Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and has long been known for its cozy nautical atmosphere, wood-paneled interior, and quieter lounge setting compared to some of Disney World’s larger resort bars.

Disney has not yet released official details about exactly what changes were made during the refurbishment.

Along with the reopening date, updated menu information has reportedly appeared for the lounge.

Crew’s Cup Lounge has traditionally served a mix of:

  • Signature cocktails
  • Beer and wine
  • Steakhouse-inspired appetizers
  • Prime rib sliders
  • Yachtsman Signature Bread
  • Specialty coffee drinks
  • Scotch and cognac selections

The lounge has become especially popular among EPCOT-area resort guests looking for a quieter dining and drinks option within walking distance of EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance.

Interestingly, Crew’s Cup Lounge is reopening just as neighboring Yachtsman Steakhouse prepares to close for its own refurbishment project.

Disney previously announced that Yachtsman Steakhouse would temporarily close beginning in May 2026 and is currently expected to reopen sometime in August 2026.

During the Yachtsman closure, Crew’s Cup Lounge is expected to continue operating and may serve select menu items associated with the steakhouse.

The reopening also comes amid broader refurbishment work taking place throughout Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

Over the past several years, Disney has continued updating portions of the EPCOT-area resorts with refreshed guest rooms, dining updates, and infrastructure improvements.

While Disney has not shared photos of the completed Crew’s Cup refurbishment yet, many fans have hoped the lounge would maintain its classic maritime atmosphere and intimate feel after reopening.

Even though it’s smaller and less flashy than some of Disney World’s newer lounges, Crew’s Cup has quietly built a very loyal fanbase over the years.

The lounge is especially popular because of its relaxed atmosphere, convenient EPCOT-area location, easier walk-up availability, steakhouse-style menu options, and hidden gem reputation among Disney regulars.

For many longtime Walt Disney World guests, it’s become one of those “if you know, you know” resort spots.
