The Muppets‘ transformation of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is becoming more visible by the day.

Disney has now added brand-new Muppets branding to both the giant guitar and entrance archway outside Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as exterior work continues ahead of the attraction’s opening later this month.
The newest overnight update added the official “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets” logo directly onto the attraction’s oversized guitar located in the courtyard outside the ride entrance. The colorful logo now sits across the repainted guitar, which recently received a vibrant multi-color makeover inspired by the Electric Mayhem band’s psychedelic aesthetic.

Disney has also added “The Muppets” wording to the attraction’s courtyard entrance archway, continuing the transition away from the former Aerosmith theming that defined the attraction for more than two decades.

The redesigned guitar itself now features a bright, swirling paint scheme inspired by the Electric Mayhem tour bus, along with a keyboard design near the base featuring a gold key as a nod to Dr. Teeth.

The exterior changes follow several other recent updates around the attraction, including the installation of a new attraction poster featuring the Electric Mayhem band and the addition of the newly painted “Rock Around The Shop” mural near the gift shop area.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is officially scheduled to open on May 26, 2026, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The reimagined attraction replaces the former Aerosmith version while keeping the same high-speed launch coaster system, inversions, and Hollywood freeway ride experience.

Disney has already confirmed the attraction’s new storyline centers around Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem racing across Hollywood to make it to their biggest concert ever. Guests will board the famous “L.I.M.O.” while experiencing one of five randomized songs performed by the band and celebrity collaborators, including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Questlove, and Def Leppard.

As construction walls continue disappearing around Sunset Boulevard, Disney appears to be entering the final stages of the attraction’s exterior transformation before previews begin later this month.
