If you’ve ever planned your park route around that Tangled bathroom, you’re going to want to hear this.

A fan-favorite (yes, really) spot inside Magic Kingdom has officially gone completely offline, and it could impact your next park day more than you expect.

After initially closing just the men’s side earlier this month, Disney has now expanded refurbishment work to include all restrooms in the Tangled-themed area of Fantasyland.

That means the men’s restroom, the women’s restroom, and the family/companion restroom are all currently closed to guests.

The closest restrooms are currently through the Adventureland breezeway and near Pinocchio Village Haus.

Both options require a bit of a walk from Fantasyland, so this is definitely something you’ll want to plan for ahead of time instead of discovering mid-park day.

While it might seem like a small update, these restrooms are actually one of the most popular (and most talked-about) in the park thanks to their immersive theming inspired by Tangled.

The area originally opened in 2013, and aside from some exterior touch-ups over the years, the interiors haven’t seen major updates since.

So this refurbishment could mean interior upgrades, theming refreshes, and general maintenance after years of heavy guest use.

In other words, this closure could lead to a much-needed glow-up.

Disney has not announced a reopening timeline just yet. That means this closure could last a few weeks, or potentially longer, depending on the scope of work. If you’re visiting soon, it’s safe to assume these restrooms may remain unavailable for at least part of your trip.

It might sound dramatic, but restroom closures in a theme park this size can actually impact your day more than you think.

This location sits right between major traffic areas in Fantasyland, making it a convenient mid-route stop, popular break area (especially with seating and shade nearby), and a go-to for families with young kids.

With it closed, expect slightly longer walks to find the nearest bathroom, potentially heavier traffic at nearby bathrooms, and a need to rethink your usual park flow.

Refurbishments are a normal part of keeping Disney parks running smoothly — even for something as unexpected as a bathroom.

But with all Tangled restrooms now fully closed, this is one small change that could have a noticeable impact on your Magic Kingdom strategy.

So if you’re heading to the park soon…maybe don’t wait until the last second.

Stay tuned for more updates on Magic Kingdom refurbishments, construction projects, and park changes as they happen.
