Planning a Disneyland day? You might want to double-check the hours.
Because on select nights this spring, your park day could be ending earlier than expected.
Disneyland Park will be closing early on select dates in May and June 2026, as the park hosts special after-hours events.
These early closures are typically tied to separately ticketed experiences, which allow a limited number of guests to enjoy the park after regular hours—meaning standard day guests will need to exit before those events begin.
These dates are often associated with popular after-hours offerings that can include exclusive entertainment, lower wait times for attractions, and specialty food and merchandise.
For regular daytime guests, however, this means shorter park hours on those dates.
If you’re visiting Disneyland during this timeframe, these early closures can impact how many attractions you’re able to experience, dining reservations later in the evening, and fireworks or nighttime entertainment availability.
That makes it especially important to check the official park calendar before your visit and plan your day accordingly.
For May, these early closure dates will be for select Star Wars Nites on May 4 and May 6, beginning at 8 PM. If you’re looking to stay past 8 PM on these dates, you’ll need the special event ticket to experience all of the entertainment, exclusive food and beverage options, and rare character meet and greets happening after dark.
Additionally, Grad Nite will fall on the following dates:

These nights are a celebration for the graduating high school class of 2026. The event allows seniors to ride attractions, meet characters, and enjoy special dance parties after park closing. The event takes place from 9 PM – 2 AM.
In June, Pride Nites will take over the nighttime festivities on June 16 and 18. Pride Nite features colorful decor, lively entertainment, rare character appearances, and more in a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Grad Nites will also continue through June at Disney California Adventure on the following dates:

- June 7, 2026
- June 10, 2026
- June 12, 2026
If you’re set on visiting one of these days, consider arriving early to maximize your time — or park hopping (if available) to another park that may have later hours. Because once that early closing time hits…your Disneyland day wraps up fast.
