It’s beginning to look a LOT like Christmas at Walt Disney World! Halloween may have just wrapped up, but Magic Kingdom is already trading pumpkins and spooky decorations for garlands, wreaths, and plenty of festive red bows!

During our latest visit to Magic Kingdom, we spotted Christmas decorations already installed throughout Main Street, U.S.A., giving guests their first taste of the 2026 holiday season. And even though the weather was less than magical, the decorations certainly weren’t!
Christmas Has Arrived on Main Street, U.S.A.!
One of the most exciting parts of the holiday season at Magic Kingdom is watching Main Street, U.S.A. transform into a Victorian-inspired Christmas wonderland.
And that transformation is officially underway! As guests enter the park, they’re greeted by beautiful greenery, oversized red bows, and colorful Christmas ornaments decorating the buildings along Main Street.
The Main Street train station is already looking festive, with garlands draped across its upper balcony, wreaths decorating the railings, and bright red bows adding pops of color against the building’s Victorian architecture.

It’s one of those classic Magic Kingdom holiday sights that immediately makes you feel like Christmas is right around the corner!
The Emporium Is Decked Out for Christmas!
Another highlight of this year’s early decorations is the Emporium, Magic Kingdom’s iconic merchandise location along Main Street, U.S.A. The building’s exterior is covered in lush Christmas garlands, colorful ornaments, and beautiful red-and-gold bells.

Large swags of greenery hang from the Emporium’s covered entrance, while festive wreaths and bows decorate the nearby lampposts. And with Cinderella Castle visible in the distance, it’s already creating some gorgeous holiday photo opportunities!
Across the street, the Main Street Confectionery has also received its Christmas makeover, with garlands and red bows lining the upper windows and storefront.

Even the rainy pavement added a little extra charm, reflecting the holiday decorations and storefront lights throughout Main Street.
More Holiday Magic Is Still on the Way!
While Main Street is already looking festive, Magic Kingdom’s holiday transformation isn’t quite finished. Additional decorations traditionally arrive throughout the park in the days leading up to the official start of Walt Disney World’s holiday celebrations.
Guests can look forward to the return of seasonal entertainment, festive merchandise, holiday treats, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which officially kicks off on November 9, 2026. The separately ticketed event brings special entertainment to Magic Kingdom, including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, character appearances, and more.

And for guests visiting during regular park hours, there’s still plenty of holiday atmosphere to enjoy without purchasing a Christmas party ticket!

My Take
There is seriously NOTHING like walking onto Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing those Christmas decorations for the first time each year! I know we’re only a couple of days into November, but seeing the garlands, oversized bows, and beautiful bells back on the Emporium instantly puts me in the Christmas spirit. And I have to say, even with the rain pouring down, Main Street looked absolutely gorgeous!
I especially love how Disney decorates each of the Victorian storefronts differently while still keeping everything cohesive. It’s those little details that make Magic Kingdom feel so special during the holidays. Now I’m just waiting for the Christmas tree to complete the picture!
