Disney just released a new fall discount for the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, the walkable “Good Neighbor” properties just off Disney Springs, with rates starting at $125 a night.
If staying on Disney property has always felt just out of budget, this batch of hotels tends to be the workaround, and right now it’s a genuinely good one.
The Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are a group of seven properties within walking distance of Disney Springs, not owned or operated by Disney but officially designated as Disney World hotels with real on-property perks: transportation to all four theme parks and Early Entry, the same 30-minutes-before-opening access that guests at actual Disney-owned resorts get. This new fall promotion, timed to Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, runs through their own booking website now through November 13 for stays through December 18, with some blackout dates in the mix. Here’s how the rates break down by hotel: Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista starts at $125 a night, Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa at $134, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando at $149, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs both at $153, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace at $168, and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando at $174.
The Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month tie-in isn’t just a marketing peg for the hotel rates, either. Disney Springs itself is running special snacks and dishes tied to the celebration through October 15, alongside dedicated entertainment, and The Art of Disney is carrying limited prints from a rotating lineup of Hispanic and Latin American artists, which makes for a genuinely nice souvenir if you’re visiting during the window.
If you’ve never stayed at one of these seven hotels before, they’re worth knowing about even outside of a discount period. Because they carry Disney’s official Good Neighbor Hotel designation, guests get access to perks you won’t find at a typical off-site hotel nearby, most notably that Early Entry benefit, which by itself can be worth the trade-off of not staying at, say, a Deluxe resort on Disney’s own property. The skybridge access into Disney Springs is also a real convenience if you like the option of a late dinner or a nightcap without needing a car or rideshare back to your room.
Worth noting: this deal runs on its own separate booking site rather than through Disney’s main reservation system, so if you’re used to booking a Disney World hotel stay through My Disney Experience or disneyworld.com, this one works a little differently.
