Disneyland Resort has released new hotel discounts worth up to 20% off for guests planning a Halloween Time or holiday season trip, and there are actually two separate offers worth comparing before you book.
If you’ve been eyeing a fall or winter Disneyland trip and holding off on booking a hotel, this is worth pausing for.
The first offer is open to all eligible guests and covers stays of three or more nights at a Disneyland Resort hotel between October 11 and December 18, 2026, with savings up to 20% on both Standard and Premium room types. It’s available across all four Disneyland Resort hotels: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel. Guests need to book by December 15, with travel wrapped up by December 19, and as always with these kinds of offers, availability is limited, so not every room type or date will necessarily carry the full discount.
Disney Visa Cardmembers have a second, separate offer running the same October 11 through December 18 window, and it’s worth understanding the difference before assuming one is automatically better than the other. The cardmember discount saves up to 20% on select Premium rooms and up to 15% on select Standard rooms, but it only applies to Sunday through Thursday nights. That’s a meaningful trade-off: the general three-night offer covers any night of the week, including weekends, while the cardmember discount is deeper on paper but restricted to weeknights only. Both offers share the same booking-by-December-15 and travel-by-December-19 deadlines, and both apply at the same four hotels.
Which one actually saves you more money really comes down to your specific trip. If your Disneyland visit falls entirely on weeknights, the Disney Visa Cardmember offer is worth running the numbers on, since a deeper percentage discount on a Premium room could beat the general offer even with the added minimum-stay requirement. If your trip includes a Friday or Saturday night, though, the standard three-night discount is probably your better bet by default, since the cardmember rate simply doesn’t apply to those nights at all.
It’s also worth checking Magic Key holder rates if you’re eligible, since Disneyland typically keeps a separate discount running for Magic Key members alongside offers like these, and depending on your specific dates, that could end up beating both of the discounts above.
