If you’ve got a Pixar Place Hotel stay coming up and you’ve been eyeing the pool deck, there’s good news: everything that’s currently closed…

…is on its way back before the month is out!

Four amenities at Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort closed for refurbishment on September 8, but all four have confirmed reopening dates already on the books:

• Pixel Pool — closed September 8, reopening September 19
• Paradise Spa — closed September 8, reopening September 19
• Crush Surfin’ Slide — closed September 8, reopening September 25
• Nemo’s Cove splash pad — closed September 8, reopening September 25

So if your trip falls before September 19, plan around the pool and spa being unavailable. If you’re arriving between September 19 and 25, you’ll have the main pool and spa back, but the slide and splash pad will still be a few days out. Anyone checking in after September 25 should have full access to everything.

As of now, no other closures have been reported for the hotel, so by the time all four of these wrap up, Pixar Place Hotel should be back to fully operational status for the rest of the month.

If you haven’t stayed at Pixar Place Hotel before, it’s built entirely around Pixar theming, right down to a giant Pixar lamp and ball in the lobby. It’s also one of the few places at the Disneyland Resort where you can meet rarer characters like Joe from Soul and Bing Bong from Inside Out, alongside plenty of nods to classic Pixar shorts scattered throughout the property. Beyond the pool and spa, guests also have access to a fitness center, and the rooftop pool deck offers a genuinely great vantage point for catching fireworks without needing to be inside the park itself.

If you’ve been holding off on booking a Pixar Place Hotel stay because of these closures, this is a good moment to go ahead and lock something in; by the time most upcoming trips actually roll around, all four amenities should be back in service. If your trip falls in that narrow window before everything reopens, it’s still a perfectly good hotel to stay at; you’d just be missing the pool, spa, slide, or splash pad depending on your exact dates.
