Chicken Guy’s New Breakfast Menu Is Only Around for a Few Hours a Week — Here’s If It’s Worth Catching

I’ll admit it…when I think of Chicken Guy, I think of tenders, that ridiculous sauce wall, and Guy Fieri’s face grinning at me from a selfie spot while I clutch a basket of fries. I do not, historically, think “breakfast.”

So when I found out Chicken Guy at Disney Springs had quietly rolled out a full breakfast menu, I had questions. Mainly: does chicken belong at 9 AM? (Spoiler: apparently, yes. Emphatically yes.)

Chicken Guy launched as a collaboration between celebrity chef Guy Fieri and restaurateur Robert Earl, opening its flagship Disney Springs location back in 2018, right next door to Earl’s other big Disney Springs venture, Planet Hollywood. It’s a fast-casual concept built around chicken tenders, brined in lemon juice, pickle juice, and buttermilk before being grilled or fried, and it’s become a Disney Springs staple ever since — the kind of place with a line out the door on a busy night and a whole wall of house-made dipping sauces that could keep you occupied for a solid ten minutes just deciding what to try.

So a breakfast menu isn’t exactly a stretch for the brand…it’s the same never-frozen, hand-pounded chicken tender ethos, just applied to your morning routine instead of your dinner plans.

The Vibe: Flavortown, But Make It AM

Walking up to Chicken Guy still feels exactly the way you’d expect from a Guy Fieri joint — loud, colorful, a little chaotic in the best way, with that cartoon rooster mascot grinning at you from every sign like he’s already had three cups of coffee. Even at breakfast hours, the energy doesn’t dial down. This isn’t a quiet, sleepy morning spot. It’s bright, it’s a little brash, and it makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a chicken-themed carnival before 10 AM, which honestly? I’m into it.

The counter-service setup is the same as always; order at the register, grab a seat wherever you can find one, and settle in for food that shows up fast. It’s not fine dining, and it’s not trying to be. It’s the kind of place that wants you fed, happy, and back out exploring Disney Springs within twenty minutes.

The Breakfast Menu, at a Glance

The new breakfast lineup breaks down into a few simple categories: breakfast sandwiches (four of them, all built around either chicken, sausage, or bacon), a small handful of “specialties” that lean into bigger, shareable-feeling plates, one side, and a beverage list that includes a cold brew coffee program with some genuinely fun flavor options.

It’s not an enormous menu, but it covers a lot of ground for what’s clearly meant to be a quick, grab-and-go breakfast stop before a day in the parks or shopping around Disney Springs.

Now, the Part You Actually Came For: What We Ordered

Chicken, Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($7.49)

Crispy chicken, egg, cheddar, and Chicken Guy’s special sauce, all stacked on a brioche bun. This is the sandwich that makes the most sense for the brand — it’s basically their signature tender, dressed up for breakfast.

Between the crispy chicken and that special sauce (which, if you’ve had their tenders before, you know is doing a lot of the flavor lifting), this feels like the most “on brand” item on the whole menu, and probably the safest bet if you’re only trying one sandwich.

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($6.99)

Breakfast sausage, egg, cheddar, and that same special sauce, also on a brioche bun.

This one trades the crispy chicken for a classic breakfast sausage patty, which makes it feel more like a traditional fast-food breakfast sandwich…just with Chicken Guy’s sauce doing some extra flavor work to set it apart from something you’d grab at a drive-thru.

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($6.99)

Smoked bacon, egg, cheddar, and special sauce on a brioche bun.

Of the three sandwiches, this is the one that leans hardest into pure comfort-food territory; smoked bacon and melted cheddar is about as safe a combination as breakfast gets, and the brioche bun keeps things soft instead of letting it turn into a heavy, greasy mess.

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit ($6.49)

Same sausage, egg, and cheddar combo as the sandwich above, but swapped onto a buttery biscuit instead of a brioche bun.

If you’re a biscuit person, this is clearly the move. A good biscuit changes the entire texture of a breakfast sandwich, adding that slightly flaky, buttery element that a bun just can’t replicate.

Chicken & Waffles ($7.49)

Crispy chicken tenders stacked on a freshly made buttermilk waffle, dusted with powdered sugar, served with a side of whipped maple butter and syrup.

This is the specialty I was most curious about, and it delivers exactly the sweet-and-savory contrast you want from a good chicken and waffles plate. The powdered sugar and maple butter combo means you’re getting real sweetness here, balanced against that crispy, savory tender…this feels like the “treat yourself” option on the menu, not an everyday order.

Breakfast Wrap ($6.99)

Chopped crispy chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, and cheddar, all wrapped in a flour tortilla with a side of salsa. This is clearly built for people who want breakfast on the move!

Everything is chopped up and wrapped tight, easy to eat one-handed while you’re walking toward whatever’s next on the agenda. The breakfast tots tucked inside instead of on the side is a nice touch, giving the wrap some texture instead of just being eggs and chicken.

Breakfast Bowl ($6.49)

Chopped crispy chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, cheddar, and smoked bacon, with a side of salsa.

Basically the wrap’s heartier cousin — same core ingredients, plus bacon, minus the tortilla, served up in a bowl instead. If you want everything the wrap has to offer but with more bacon and less carb-wrapping, this is the one to grab.

Breakfast Tots ($2.99)

A simple side of breakfast tots. Not much to overanalyze here, other than the distinguishing feature is that the tots are seasoned the same as Chicken Guy’s delicious french fries.

Tots are tots, and they’re the kind of reliable, crispy-on-the-outside side that works alongside literally anything else on this menu.

Cold Brew Coffee — Hunny Bunny Flavor ($4.99)

Cold brew is available in a handful of flavors, but Hunny Bunny (matching the rooster mascot’s name, naturally) is the one with the most personality.

A honey-forward cold brew feels like a smart move for a breakfast menu built around sweet-and-savory combos; it’s got enough sweetness to stand on its own without needing extra sugar dumped in, and it’s a fun, branded touch that fits the whole Flavortown aesthetic Chicken Guy has built its identity around.

So, Would I Go Back?

Yes, and honestly, I didn’t expect to be saying that about a chicken restaurant’s breakfast menu. The sandwiches are straightforward and well-executed, the specialties (particularly the Chicken & Waffles) show some real thought went into balancing sweet and savory, and the pricing stays reasonable for a Disney Springs quick-service spot.

Go here if: you’re already a fan of Chicken Guy’s tenders and want to see how that same brand energy translates to breakfast, you’re looking for a fast, filling meal before a park day, or you’re a chicken-and-waffles person who’s always up for a new take on the combo.

Steer clear if: you’re after a lighter, more traditional breakfast (there’s a lot of fried chicken and cheese happening across this whole menu), or you’re not a fan of Guy Fieri’s louder, more over-the-top brand of energy, because that vibe is fully intact here, even before noon.

We were invited by Chickey Guy for a special media preview of their new breakfast menu. We’re thankful for the opportunity to be among the first to experience and share it, but as always, our coverage reflects our honest opinions, independently formed and not directed by Chicken Guy or Disney Springs.
