Forget pumpkin spice…

…Springfield has its own way of welcoming fall.

Dufftoberfest has officially returned to Universal Studios Florida, bringing a limited-time seasonal Duff Beer and a little Bavarian flair back to Springfield, U.S.A.: Home of the Simpsons. And if you’re visiting Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights season, this is another seasonal offering you can add to your list.

Dufftoberfest officially returned on August 24, 2026, and this year’s celebration is scheduled to stick around through November 1, 2026.

If you’ve never experienced Dufftoberfest before, think of it as Springfield’s very Simpsons take on Oktoberfest.

The celebration is modeled after the famous German Oktoberfest tradition, but naturally, Springfield swaps the traditional name for one honoring its favorite fictional brew: Duff Beer.

The biggest reason to stop by is the return of the seasonal Dufftoberfest beer, which is only offered at Universal Orlando Resort for a limited time during the fall season. Previous versions of Dufftoberfest have featured a German-style Märzen beer.

For 2026, guests can grab the seasonal Dufftoberfest offering from August 24 through November 1.

The beer isn’t the only thing changing for the season. Guests visiting Springfield will also find a Bavarian-inspired atmosphere taking over the Duff Brewery beer garden and Moe’s Tavern, helping give the area its own Oktoberfest-style celebration.

Both locations can be found inside Springfield, U.S.A.: Home of the Simpsons at Universal Studios Florida.

And considering Dufftoberfest runs straight through November 1, its return overlaps almost perfectly with Halloween Horror Nights 35, which takes place on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026.

That means if you’re spending an evening bouncing between haunted houses and scare zones, Springfield could make for a pretty convenient seasonal drink stop along the way.

With Halloween Horror Nights right around the corner and Universal’s fall offerings beginning to appear throughout the resort, Springfield’s seasonal beer celebration is another sign that spooky season has officially arrived in Orlando.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for even more limited-time food, drinks and seasonal experiences arriving around Universal Orlando Resort, so keep checking back with Theme Park Scope for the latest Universal Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights updates!
