Disney Vacation Club Members have another reason to celebrate spooky season at Disney World this October.

The Disney Vacation Club Halloween Meet & Treat is officially returning to Disney’s BoardWalk for 2026, bringing costumed Disney Characters, complimentary candy, and some extra Membership Magic to eligible DVC Members on three select dates this October.
The complimentary event will once again take place inside Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk.
For 2026, the Disney Vacation Club Halloween Meet & Treat will be offered on:
- Monday, October 5th, 2026
- Monday, October 12th, 2026
- Monday, October 26th, 2026
Each event will run from 11 AM to 1 PM ET. Members are limited to attending one event date per DVC Membership, allowing as many eligible Members as possible to participate.

During the event, DVC Members and their guests will be able to interact with Disney Characters dressed in Halloween costumes and collect complimentary candy.
Disney has not yet announced which characters will appear or what treats will be distributed, and both are subject to change.
Previous versions of the event give us an idea of just how fun those character appearances can get. The first Halloween Meet & Treat at Disney’s BoardWalk in 2022 featured the Hag from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Vampire Goofy, and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Those characters have NOT been confirmed for 2026, but we’re definitely curious to see who shows up this year.
Who Can Attend?
There are some important eligibility requirements to know before heading over.
The Halloween Meet & Treat is available to Disney Vacation Club Members who are eligible for Membership Extras. Members must also have a qualifying reservation booked through their eligible Membership at either a Disney-owned-and-operated Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Disney’s Vero Beach Resort on the date they attend.
Each eligible Member can bring up to four guests per Membership Card OR the number of guests included on their resort reservation.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
Do You Need to Register?
Here’s one detail that makes this event particularly easy to add to your plans: Advance registration is NOT required.
Members will instead need to present a valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID when checking in. The Member whose name appears on the card must also be present.

So, if you’re an eligible DVC Member with a qualifying Disney Resort stay overlapping one of those three October dates, you might want to work a little Halloween detour to Disney’s BoardWalk into your plans.
Between costumed characters, free candy, and the chance to experience a little Membership Magic outside the parks, this sounds like a pretty sweet way to celebrate spooky season — literally.
