We just got our first look at Anna, Elsa, and Olaf’s new costumes for Frozen III, and Arendelle is looking colder (and somehow even more stunning) than ever.
Disney unveiled a full walk-through display at D23 for the upcoming film, and it did not disappoint. Elsa and Anna are front and center on an icy platform, surrounded by frosted trees, glowing icicles, and a backdrop that shifts through soft purples and greens like an actual aurora borealis. It’s giving Arendelle-meets-runway, and honestly? I’m here for it.
Elsa’s look leans further into her icy-queen era: a flowing blue-to-purple gown with a fur-trimmed hood, her signature braid tucked underneath, and a long cape that pools dramatically at her feet. It’s elegant, it’s a little mysterious, and it fits right in with the film’s snowy, otherworldly setting.
Anna, meanwhile, is dressed for adventure — a rosy pink and sage green ensemble with delicate floral embroidery, layered sleeves, and green boots that say “I am absolutely about to trek through a frozen forest and you can’t stop me.” The two costumes play off each other beautifully, keeping that signature sisters-but-opposites energy alive.
And then there’s Olaf, who’s stealing the spotlight per usual — perched on top of a barrel in a teal vest and orange bow tie, arms thrown wide open like he’s mid-sentence (he probably is). Nearby, Kristoff shows up in a sharp navy jacket with embroidered detailing, and Sven stands close behind wearing his own little bow tie, because apparently everyone dressed up for this one.
The display also included a gorgeous mural showing the whole crew (Anna, Kristoff, Elsa, Sven, and Olaf) from behind, gazing out at the northern lights together. It’s a quiet, sweet moment, and it’s giving big “this movie is going to make me cry in a theater” energy already.
